Igors Vihrovs is a Latvian gymnast, who won the gold medal in floor exercise at the 2000 Summer Olympics, and bronze in floor exercise in 2000 European Championships and 2001 World Championships. He was the first Olympic gold medalist for independent Latvia.

Igor Shulepov is a Russian volleyball player born in Yekaterinburg who competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics and in the 2000 Summer Olympics. In 1996 he was part of the Russian team which finished fourth in the Olympic tournament. He played all eight matches. Four years later he won the silver medal with the Russian team in the 2000 Olympic tournament. He played all eight matches again.

Igor Genua is a Spanish rugby union player. He was named in Spain's national rugby sevens team for the 2016 Summer Olympics; and was also in the squad that played at the 2016 Men's Rugby Sevens Final Olympic Qualification Tournament in Monaco.
