The Ilyushin Il-108 is a twin-jet business-aircraft project, drafted in 1990 by the Russian manufacturer Ilyushin. A first model was presented in the same year, but apparently no Il-108 ever took to the air. It is similar in appearance to the Canadair Challenger 300. [1]
The draft listed two models, a nine-seater executive aircraft and a 15-passenger commercial aircraft, both low-winged and possessing a T-tail. The Il-108 is powered by two Lotarev DV-2 turbofans attached to the top of the rear fuselage on either side of the tail, each providing a thrust of 21.6 kN. [2]
A second version was planned to be equipped with Lotarev DV-22 turbofan derivatives having a bypass ratio of 5 and a 35 kN thrust.

The Ilyushin Il-96 is a Russian quadjet long-haul wide-body airliner designed by Ilyushin in the former Soviet Union and manufactured by the Voronezh Aircraft Production Association in Russia. It is powered by four high-bypass Aviadvigatel PS-90 two-shaft turbofan engines.
The Tupolev Tu-334 was a Russian short-to-medium range airliner project that was developed to replace the ageing Tu-134s and Yak-42s in service around the world. The airframe was based on a shortened Tu-204 fuselage and a scaled-down version of that aircraft's wing. Unlike the Tu-204, however, the Tu-334 has a T-tail and engines mounted on the sides of the rear fuselage instead of under the wings. With the rationalisation of the Russian aircraft companies in 2009 to form United Aircraft Corporation it was decided not to continue with the programme.
The Aero L-59 Super Albatros is a Czechoslovak military jet trainer developed from the firm's earlier L-39 Albatros. Compared to its predecessor, it featured a strengthened fuselage, longer nose, a vastly updated cockpit, advanced avionics, and a more powerful engine Lotarev DV-2. At the time of its first flight on 30 September 1986, it was designated the L-39MS. Aero no longer produces this aircraft.
The Antonov An-218 was a proposal by the Antonov Design Bureau for a widebody commercial airliner. A twin-engined design, it was intended to carry approximately 350 passengers.

The Ilyushin Il-276 (SVTS) is a medium-airlift military transport aircraft currently being developed by initially United Aircraft Corporation (UAC). It is designed to perform regular transport duties and also to deploy up to 150 paratrooper soldiers or up to 20 tons of cargo. According to the Russian press, the Il-276 is expected to begin flight testing in 2023 and deliver the first units in 2026. Ilyushin intends to achieve an annual production rate of 12 units by 2029.

The Cessna Citation III is an American business jet with 2,350 nmi (4,350 km) of range produced by Cessna and part of the Citation Family Announced at the October 1976 NBAA convention, it made its maiden flight on May 30, 1979, received its type certification on April 30, 1982 and was delivered between 1983 and 1992. The cheaper Citation VI was produced from 1991 to 1995 and the more powerful Citation VII was offered between 1992 and 2000, 360 of all variants were delivered. An all new design, it had a 312 sq ft swept wing for a 22,000 lb MTOW, a T-tail and two 3,650–4,080 lbf (16.2–18.1 kN) TFE731 turbofans. Its fuselage cross section and cockpit were kept in the later Citation X, Citation Excel and Citation Sovereign.
The NK-8 was a low-bypass turbofan engine built by the Kuznetsov Design Bureau, in the 90 kN (20,000 lbf) thrust class. It powered production models of the Ilyushin Il-62 and the Tupolev Tu-154A and B models.
The Gulfstream American Hustler was a 1970s American mixed-power executive/utility aircraft designed by American Jet Industries. The aircraft had a nose-mounted turboprop and a tail-mounted turbofan.
The Xian H-8 bomber was a Chinese military aircraft and a possible successor to the aging twin-engined Xian H-6 jet bomber. It is referred to as Xian H-7 in some sources. The proposed designs were reported to be an enlarged H-6 with four or six underwing engines, but the project was canceled in 1971 in early development stage.
