Indonesian Idol Season Six is a continuation of the Indonesian Idol show in the year 2010. Indonesian Idol came back after a suspension in the year 2009. What is different in this season is the judge of this event is no longer Titi DJ and Indra, who was replaced by Erwin Gutawa and Agnes Monica. Formation of the judge changed to four persons, namely Erwin Gutawa who acts as chairman of the judge, Agnes Monica, Anang Hermansyah, and a guest judge. For the position of the host, remains entrusted to Daniel Mananta which will guide the event this year alone. This season, Indonesian Idol theme is "Be A Superstar". This is the last season where there is a male winner

The 4th season of Indonesian Idol premiered on RCTI on March 30, 2007 and concluded on July 28, 2007. Daniel Mananta and Ata continued to host the show. On the workshop round plus the first two spectacular show, Daniel hosted the show alone due to Ata's pregnancy. Ata started joining Daniel back hosting the show on the third spectacular show. Additionally, Nirina Zubir and Indra Bekti were also announced as the hosts of Idol Banget, a behind-the-scenes show of Indonesian Idol.

The third season of Indonesian Idol aired on April 21, 2006 and concluded on August 19, 2006. Indra Lesmana, Titi DJ and Dimas Djayadiningrat all returned as judges, and Indy Barends replaced Meuthia Kasim as the fourth judge. Indy was a former host of talk show Ceriwis. VJ MTV Daniel Mananta was introduced as the new host on Indonesian Idol replacing Irgi Fahrezi.

The seventh season of Indonesian Idol premiered on RCTI on February 17, 2012. The show aired every Friday at 8:00 pm and Re-run aired every Sunday at 1:00 pm. Daniel Mananta returned as the host, while Anang Hermansyah and Agnes Monica returned as the judges, and musician and hits-maker Ahmad Dhani replaced Erwin Gutawa as the third judges. Fabian Dharmawan became the new Executive Producer. Vokal Plus founder & CEO Indra Aziz, and Irvan Nat, both of them are professional vocal couches, became the new in-house mentors to work with the contestants on a weekly basis. Universal Music Indonesia replaced Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia as Idol's official partner record label. Cross Mobile, Coolant, Honda and Mie Sedaap, were the official sponsors of the show. This season followed the same format as American Idol season 11 and used the new title screen & logo with a different font started from Spectacular round.

<i>The Voice Indonesia</i> Television series

The Voice Indonesia is a reality television singing competition created by John de Mol which premiered in Indonesia on 10 February 2013 on Indosiar. The format is Dutch and the original Dutch version of the programme was broadcast in the Netherlands for the first time in 2010 as The Voice of Holland. The show replaced the previous singing contest show Akademi Fantasi Indosiar. Season 2 will be aired in the RCTI. RCTI once again appointed Fabian Dharmawan to produce The Voice Indonesia after successful seasons with Indonesian Idol, X Factor Indonesia and Sasuke Ninja Warrior Indonesia. This program replaces the previous programs singing talent contest, Indonesian Idol because the broadcast is over from 2004 to 2014 and now otherwise been removed from list of programs RCTI. Indosiar dropped The Voice Indonesia after the first season due to poor ratings. In 2016, the RCTI won the rights to the show, and a second season went into production. In June 2017, RCTI announced that Indonesian Idol, another singing talent show seeking to discover the best singer through nationwide auditions, would return in 2018 and that The Voice Indonesia would not continue in RCTI. However, in June 2018, it was announced that a TV station GTV revived The Voice Indonesia for the third season.

The eighth season of Indonesian Idol, also known as Indonesian Idol 2014: A Decade of Dreams, premiered on RCTI on December 27, 2013. Anang Hermansyah and Ahmad Dhani returned as the judges. Agnes Monica was replaced by Tantri of Kotak, and Titi DJ, who returned to the show for her sixth season after her absence in season 6 and 7. Raisa and Indra Lesmana replace Titi and Anang during the Yogyakarta auditions. Later during the Spectacular weeks, Raisa replaced Titi during the Top 9 performances and Tantri during the Top 5. Indra replaced Tantri during the Top 8 performances. Daniel Mananta returns as the host.

The X Factor Indonesia is an Indonesian reality television music competition to find new singing talent, contested by aspiring singers drawn from public audition. The show was adopted from British The X Factor and produced by FremantleMedia and Cowell's production company Syco. It is broadcast on RCTI. In 2014, X Factor Indonesia won the Panasonic Gobel Awards for the category Talent and Best Reality Show.

The fifth season of Indonesian Idol began on April 4, 2008 and finished on August 2, 2008. Amelia Natasha was replaced by Dewi Sandra as the co-host with Daniel Mananta.

Indian Idol Junior is an Indian Hindi-language reality television singing competition and is part of Indian Idol. It began broadcasting on Sony Entertainment Television from 1 June 2013. Karan Wahi and Mandira Bedi were hosts of the show which was judged by music duo Vishal–Shekhar and with playback singer Shreya Ghoshal.

The second season of the Indonesian reality talent show The Voice Indonesia premiered February 26, 2016 on the RCTI network in the 9:00 p.m, slot immediately following Tukang Bubur Naik Haji The Series. This is the first aired by RCTI, after the previous broadcaster Indosiar dropped the show after its first one season due to poor ratings. Television personality and Indonesian Idol host Daniel Mananta was appointed as the show's new host, with Ari Lasso, Agnez Mo, Kaka "Slank", and Judika selected as coaches. Coach Ariel "Noah" served as an advisor for all teams during the knockout rounds. The winner of the knockout rounds received a 1 billion rupiahs recording contract with Universal Music Indonesia and a Toyota Yaris AT. The show aired Fridays and Saturdays at 9:00 p.m. Starting on April 1, the show aired every Friday at 9:00 p.m.

Super TV is a Korean variety show by Super Junior distributed by XtvN and tvN. The show airs on Xtvn every Thursday at 08:00 PM KST and tvN every Friday at 6:40 PM KST. Originally it was on air on both stations every Friday at 11:30 PM KST before being moved on June 7, 2018.

The tenth season of Indonesian Idol premiered on RCTI on October 7, 2019, after a year hiatus and ended on March 2, 2020, coinciding with the early rise of COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The main audition process was held in five major cities in Indonesia: Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Medan and Jakarta. This season marks as the first season to have an all-female Top 3 in Indonesian Idol history, and the second season to have an all-female finale since season 7. The winner of the season was 16-year-old Lyodra Ginting, who became the fourth female Indonesian Idol winner in a row since season 7.
