Inspector Gadget Racing is a 2003 racing video game for the Game Boy Advance developed by Bit Managers and published by Light & Shadow Production. The game is a kart racing game featuring licensed characters from the Inspector Gadget franchise. Upon release, the game received mixed reviews, with reviewers praising the design and variety of the circuits, but critiquing the game's controls and handling, difficulty and lack of originality in the genre. The game is a kart racing game in which players compete as Inspector Gadget and other characters, including Penny and Dr. Claw, [1] in races held across twenty circuits, with players starting with three available tracks and unlocking additional ones as they win each in order. [2] [3] Players can collect power-ups on courses, such as missiles or tar, to disrupt other racers. [3] The game has multiplayer functionality using the Game Link Cable for Advance players each with a copy of the game. [2]

Inspector Gadget Racing received mixed reviews upon release, with several critics comparing the game unfavorably to Mario Kart: Super Circuit as a better racing title for the Advance. [2] [4] [5] Nintendo Official Magazine stated that the game's graphics were "bold and colourful", but the racing was "pedestrian" due to the "poor collision detection", [1] remarking in later issues that the game was the worst kart racing game on the Advance, [6] and that it was "one of the slowest racers you'll ever play" and a "black sheep of the karting family". [7] Kendy Ty of Joypad enjoyed the game's "colourful" and cartoonish graphics, but critiqued the game's "very slow" pacing and "lack of sensation of speed", which made it have "too much inertia and makes it quite difficult to get to grips with". [3] Karen Harris of Total Advance also praised the game's "jaunty, imaginative tracks" for their color and variety, but critiqued the game's "infuriating" difficulty and unoriginality. [2] Oliver Lan of G-Force found the game to be "completely uninspiring", stating "the vehicles feel slow and clunky, and the races are devoid of excitement". [4]
Retrospective reception of Inspector Gadget Racing was similarly mixed. Listing the game as one of "the most forgettable kart racers ever released", Henry Gilbert of GamesRadar+ lamented the game "barely had enough memorable characters", featured "mundane driving" and did not use its theme song. [8] Similarly, listing it as a "racing tie-in nobody asked for", Chris Scullion of Nintendo Life stated that the show was a poorly suited license to make a racing game. Scullion critiqued the "painfully slow" pacing and car handling, but stated the game was "not actually the worst looking game" and did feature "impressive enough tracks". [9]

It was published by Bandai Namco Games, and released on August 22, 2006, for the PlayStation 2, GameCube, PlayStation Portable, and Microsoft Windows. An Xbox version of the game was cancelled, though a preview of the game can be found in the Xbox release of Pac-Man World 3.
Digimon Racing is a racing video game developed by Griptonite Games and published by Bandai for the Game Boy Advance. Part of the Digimon media franchise and video game series, it utilizes Digimon's characters and elements. Its gameplay largely resembles that of traditional racing games, but also utilizes elements of kart racing and action games. Its eleven playable characters can be increased to over 40 via Digivolution.
Cartoon Network Racing is a racing video game developed by Eutechnyx for PlayStation 2 and Firebrand Games for Nintendo DS, published by Danish video game developer The Game Factory, and released on December 4, 2006, in North America, and on February 9, 2007, in Europe. The gameplay is similar to Nintendo's 2003 game Mario Kart: Double Dash, but the characters and racetracks are all from six of Cartoon Network's original animated television series: Courage the Cowardly Dog, Cow and Chicken, Dexter's Laboratory, I Am Weasel, Johnny Bravo, and The Powerpuff Girls.
Banjo-Pilot is a 2005 kart racing video game for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) and the fourth installment in Rare's Banjo-Kazooie series. It plays similarly to the Mario Kart series by Nintendo: the player races one of nine playable characters around tracks, attacking other racers with bullets and collecting power-ups. The game features a number of single-player and multiplayer modes, such as time attack and item hunts. Unlike other kart racing games, characters control airplanes instead of go-karts.
Cars 2 is a 2011 racing game based on the 2011 film of the same name. Originally announced at E3 2011, the game was released by Disney Interactive Studios on all major platforms in North America on June 21, 2011, and in Australia two days later. The game was released in Europe on July 22, 2011. Versions for the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Portable were released later that year in November. The game features an array of Cars characters competing in spy adventures, as well as racing. The game received mixed reviews from critics.
Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix is a racing game developed by Bamtang Games and published by GameMill Entertainment in North America, Maximum Games in Europe, and Ripples Asia Venture in Japan. A sequel to 2018's Nickelodeon Kart Racers, it was released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 6, 2020, and for Windows on December 1, 2020. Mobile versions for Android and iOS were later released on February 24, 2022. A sequel, titled Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway, was released in October 2022.
Gensou SkyDrift is a racing Touhou Project fangame developed in 2019 by illuCalab for Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch, by a development team who had previously worked on Mario Kart 8. In 2021, it was released for PlayStation 4.
Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway is a racing game developed by Bamtang Games and published by GameMill Entertainment. It is the third entry in the Nickelodeon Kart Racers series, following Nickelodeon Kart Racers (2018) and Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix (2020). Like its predecessors, Slime Speedway is based around characters from various Nickelodeon animated series, known as "Nicktoons", participating in kart races and attempting to defeat their opponents. The game was released on October 14, 2022 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
