On September 16, 2020, Bethel Music announced that "Into the Wild" would be the next single following "Evidence" with its release slated for September 18, 2020, in the lead-up to the release of Baldwin's album Evidence set for October 2, 2020. [5] "Into the Wild" was subsequently released as the album's first promotional single, [6] accompanied with its music video. [7]
