Ioan Coman (born 14 April 1908, date of death unknown) was a Romanian cross-country skier. He competed in the men's 18 kilometre event at the 1936 Winter Olympics. [1]

Dragoş Coman is an international freestyle swimmer from Romania, who represented his native country at three consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 2000 in Sydney, Australia.
Skeet was one of the thirteen shooting events at the 1992 Summer Olympics. It was the last Olympic skeet competition open to both men and women, and the only mixed shooting competition at the Olympics ever won by a woman: Zhang Shan. The competition consisted of a qualification round of 150 targets, a semifinal of 50 targets for the top 24 competitors, and a final of 25 targets for the top six. Hitting all 200 targets of the preliminary rounds, and 23 in the final, Zhang won ahead of four male shooters at 222. With José María Colorado eliminated due to lower final score, a three-way shoot-off between Juan Giha, Bruno Rossetti and Ioan Toman determined the silver and bronze medals, going to Giha and Rossetti respectively. The event was held on 28 July at the Mollet del Vallès Shooting Range.

Anișoara Dobre-Bălan is a Romanian rower. Competing in quadruple sculls she won two Olympic medals, in 1988 and 1992, and three world championship medals, in 1985, 1986 and 1991. She also won the world title in women's eight in 1989. Her sister Doina Șnep-Bălan is married to Ioan Snep; both are Olympic rowers. The sisters often competed at the same tournament but in different crews.

Ioan Toman is a Romanian skeet shooter. He competed in the mixed skeet shooting at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, and at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, and men's skeet at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Twelve years after competing in his last Olympics, Toman qualified for his fourth Romanian team as a 49-year-old at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, by winning the silver medal from the 2007 World Shotgun Championships in Nicosia, Cyprus. He placed thirty-fifth out of forty-one shooters in the two-day qualifying rounds of men's skeet, with a total hit of 108 targets.
Fernando Eurico de Barros Oliveira da Fonseca e Costa is a Portuguese former swimmer, who specialized in long-distance freestyle events. He is a two-time Olympian, and currently holds the Portuguese record in the 1500 m freestyle from the 2007 Summer Universiade in Bangkok, Thailand.
