The Ireland cricket team toured India during March 2017 to play five One Day Internationals (ODIs), three Twenty20 International (T20Is) and an ICC Intercontinental Cup match against Afghanistan. All the matches were played at the Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground, Greater Noida, in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Afghanistan won the T20I series 3–0 and the ODI series 3–2. Afghanistan also won the ICC Intercontinental Cup match, by an innings and 172 runs.
The India cricket team toured Ireland in June 2018 to play two Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), with both matches played in Malahide. Before the second men's match was played, Ireland women played against Bangladesh women on the same day at the same venue. Prior to the series, Ireland played a tri-series against Netherlands and Scotland as preparation for these matches.
The New Zealand women's cricket team toured to play against Australia women's cricket team between September 2018 and October 2018, and again between February 2019 and March 2019. The tour consisted of three Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs), which formed part of the 2017–20 ICC Women's Championship, and three Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20I). Prior to the tour, Suzie Bates stepped down as captain of New Zealand Women and was replaced by Amy Satterthwaite.
The Sri Lanka cricket team toured Australia in October and November 2019 to play three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. In May 2019, Cricket Australia confirmed the fixtures for the tour with matches being held in Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne. Aaron Finch was the captain of the Australian team, while bowler Lasith Malinga captained Sri Lanka.
The Australia men's cricket team toured South Africa in August and September 2023 to play five One Day Internationals (ODI) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20I) matches. The ODI matches formed part of both teams' preparations for the 2023 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup.
The Afghanistan cricket team toured Ireland in August 2022 to play five Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. Initially, the tour included a one-off Test match, but this was dropped from the fixtures when Cricket Ireland announced the schedule in March 2022. Cricket Ireland confirmed the dates and venues for the tour later the same month. The matches were used by both teams as preparation for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
The South African cricket team toured India in September and October 2022 to play three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches as a preparatory series before the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. In August 2022, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed the schedule for the tour. The ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.
The New Zealand cricket team toured the Netherlands in August 2022 to play two Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. It was the first time that the New Zealand team had toured the Netherlands since 1986. The tour was originally scheduled for to take place in June 2020 before it was postponed in April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 19 July 2022, the date of the second T20I was brought forward by one day due to a cancellation of a connecting flight for the New Zealand team's tour of the West Indies. During the 2022 summer, New Zealand also toured England, Ireland and Scotland prior to this series.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed the schedule for the tour in November 2022. Both teams used the series as preparation for the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup tournament.

The 2023 Women's Ashes series was a cricket series which took place in England in June and July 2023 as the 2023 edition of the Women's Ashes. For the series, England and Australia faced each other in one Test, three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The ODI series formed part of the 2022–2025 ICC Women's Championship tournament. A points-based system was used across all three formats of the tour to determine the winner of the Ashes series. The Test match at Trent Bridge was the first ever women's Test in England and second overall to be scheduled for five days of play. Australia were the defending champions, having won the 2021–22 Women's Ashes series 12–4.

The 2023 Netherlands Women's Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 International (T20I) series which took place in the Netherlands in July 2023. The series was contested by Netherlands, Scotland and Thailand. All the matches of the series were played at Sportpark Maarschalkerweerd in Utrecht. Thailand won the tri-series on net run rate after all three sides earned two wins and two defeats.
The Pakistan women's cricket team toured New Zealand in December 2023, to play three Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) and three Women's One Day International (WODI) matches. The ODI series was a part of the 2022–2025 ICC Women's Championship.
