Isfahan University of Art (AUI) (Persian : دانشگاه هنر اصفهان) is a public University in Isfahan, Iran. It operated under the name of "Farabi University" before 1978, then it became a campus of the University of Art (based at Art University in Tehran). It was separated and became independent in 1999. [1]

The Jouybareh district is the oldest district of Isfahan. The district originates in the early Achaemenid era and because of the immigration of the babylonian jews on the order of Cyrus the Great. This district was called Dar ol-Johoud until the 12th century, but later it was known as Jahanbareh and Jouybareh and became one of the districts of Isfahan. In the Seljuq era, the district became the center of the city Isfahan. For that reason, there are very old historical structures like Sarban minaret and Chehel Dokhtaran minaret in this district.

The Toghchi district is a district in the north of Isfahan with ancient origin. Before the islamization of Persian Empire, the district was located out of the city near the Yahoudieh gate. After the invasion of Arabs in the Persian Empire and during the capture of Isfahan, some of the killed soldiers of the Islamic army were buried in this area. During the reign of Buyid dynasty, Toghchi district expanded within its fortification and a gate was built to the west of district's cemetery. In the course of time, the cemetery was extended and in the 9th and 10th century, notable personalities were buried there. This cemetery is the second vastest cemetery of Isfahan after Takht-e Foulad.

East Park of Isfahan or Eshragh Park is a regional park in the area of Nakhodi Mountain located in the eastern part of Isfahan. It has various natural attractions and is a government tourism project under construction. The project is in District 4 under Isfahan Municipality domain, phase 1 of the project is 30 thousand meters square, built at a cost of 2500 million dollars. The 1st phase includes parking, green spaces, bicycle track, rest rooms. The 2nd phase includes pavements, amphitheater, and parks that are now under digging stage. The 3rd phase also has Dolphin Park, zip-line, and some other exciting recreations. This mountain park provides vital 40% of city clean air with a combined 1400 hectares of green space.
