The Zimbabwe men's national cricket team,also known as the Chevrons,represents Zimbabwe in men's international cricket and is overseen by Zimbabwe Cricket. Zimbabwe has been a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1992. As of May,2023,Zimbabwe was ranked 10th in Tests,11th in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 11th in Twenty20 internationals (T20Is) by the ICC.

However,following the Cricket World Cup,where Afghanistan lost all of their matches,Rashid Khan was named as the new captain of the Afghanistan cricket team across all three formats. Naib led Afghanistan to the silver medal in the 2022 Asian Games.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman Zadran is an Afghan cricketer,who plays for the Afghanistan national cricket team. Two months after his international debut,at the age of 16 years and 325 days,he became the youngest player to take a five-wicket haul in a One Day International. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Afghanistan's first Test match,against India,in June 2018. Afghanistan lost the one-sided Test within two days. Mujeeb scored 15 and 3 in the two innings,respectively,and got one wicket after conceding 75 runs. It was also Mujeeb's first-class cricket debut. His uncle,Noor Ali Zadran,is also an Afghan international cricketer.
Bahir Shah is an Afghan cricketer. In domestic cricket,he plays for the Speen Ghar Tigers,and he has also played for the Afghanistan under-19 cricket team. Since his debut in 2017,Bahir has set several records in first-class cricket.
The Afghanistan cricket team toured India in June 2018 to play a one-off Test match against the India cricket team. It was Afghanistan's first Test since they were awarded the Test status by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in June 2017. India won the match in two days by an innings and 262 runs. Afghanistan were dismissed twice in the same day,only the fourth time this has happened in Tests. For India,it was their biggest win by an innings in Tests,and they became the first Asian team to win a Test match inside two days.
Saim Ayub is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for the Pakistan national cricket team and for Karachi Whites in domestic cricket. He made his international debut in T20 against Afghanistan in March 2023 and made his test debut against Australia in the third test in January 2024. Later,he made his ODI debut against Australia in November 2024.
Brian John Bennett is a Zimbabwean cricketer who plays for Zimbabwe internationally in all three formats of the game. His twin brother David Bennett is also a professional cricketer.
The Afghanistan cricket team toured Zimbabwe in December 2024 and January 2025 to play the Zimbabwe cricket team. The tour consisted of two Tests,three One Day Internationals (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. In October 2024,Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) confirmed the fixtures for the tour.
