Iulian Raicea (born 4 March 1973) is a Romanian sport shooter who competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics, in the 1996 Summer Olympics, in the 2000 Summer Olympics, in the 2004 Summer Olympics, and in the 2008 Summer Olympics. [1]

Corneliu Ion Romanian sport shooter

Corneliu Ion is a retired Romanian shooter who specialized in the 25 meter rapid fire pistol event. He competed at the 1976, 1980, 1984 and 1988 Olympics and won a gold medal in 1980 and a silver in 1984, placing fifth in 1976. In 1984 he served as the flag bearer for Romania at the opening ceremony. In 1975 he set a team world record at 2370 points and in 1977 equaled the individual world record at 598 points.

Rodica Arba is a retired Romanian rower. She competed at the 1980, 1984 and 1988 Olympics and won two gold, one silver, and one bronze medal. At the world championships she won four gold, one silver and two bronze medals between 1981 and 1987, mostly in coxless pairs.

Mauritania at the 2012 Summer Olympics

Mauritania competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, which was held from 27 July to 12 August 2012. The country's participation at London marked its eighth appearance in the Summer Olympics since its debut in the 1984 Summer Olympics. The delegation included two track and field athletes, Jidou El Moctar and Aicha Fall, who were selected to the team by wildcard places, as the nation had no athletes that met either the "A" or "B" qualifying standards. Moctar was selected as flag bearer for the opening ceremony while a LOCOG Games Maker carried it for the closing ceremony. Neither of the two athletes progressed beyond the heats.

Ion Iulian Panait is an amateur Romanian Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's welterweight category. He won two silver medals for his division at the 2008 European Wrestling Championships in Tampere, Finland, and at the 2010 European Wrestling Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan. He is also a member of Dinamo Bucureşti, and is coached and trained by Carare Petrica.

Stênio Akiro Yamamoto is a Brazilian sport shooter of Japanese descent. He won a silver medal in the free pistol at the 2007 ISSF World Cup series in Munich, Germany, with a score of 660.8 points.

Iulian Păcioianu is a Romanian bobsledder. He competed at the 1994, 1998 and the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Iulian Florescu is a Romanian ice hockey player. He competed in the men's tournaments at the 1964 Winter Olympics and the 1968 Winter Olympics.
