J Wess Presents Tha LP is the debut album by American-Australian urban musician J-Wess, released in April 2004. The album reached the top twenty of the Australian albums chart and three songs from the album, "Bang This", "What Chu Want" and "Luv Ya", were top-20 hits in Australia.
J-Wess wrote and produced the album and recruited the performers on it. He states on his website: "I feel confident that I've done my job as a producer. My job is to find and build talent, to bring new people to the forefront. I wanted to show how deep I go as a producer across the board. I wanted to show my versatility, I didn't want to be pigeon-holed." The album was released on 4 April 2004.
In the middle of 2003, J-Wess' first single, "Bang This", was released. Featuring the contributions of MC Digga and the vocal talents of Kulaia, it quickly gained airplay on Australian radio and Australian video programs. The single reached a peak of number 18 on the ARIA singles charts and the top ten of the Australian urban and dance charts.
The second single "What Chu Want" featured the talents of Lolly as well as MC Digga and Kulaia and was released in late 2003. It reached the Australian top 10 in February 2004 and went gold.
His album J Wess Presents Tha LP was released on 4 April 2004 and debuted in the Australian top 20 album charts of 12 April 2004. The third single, "Luv Ya", features MC Digga, Kulaia and Isaac Moran on guitar, and it reached number 15 in Australia.

James Wesley Essex, better known by his stage name J-Wess, is an American-Australian hip hop and R&B music producer. J-Wess is currently in the studio working on new music to follow up his most recent single titled 'Get Down'. He is based out of Los Angeles, California and Melbourne, Victoria. His sole album, J-Wess Presents Tha LP, reached the top twenty in Australia in 2005, and included three hit singles.
Big Brovaz are an R&B and hip hop music group from London, England. In their seven-year career they released two studio albums and eight singles. There were three line-up changes with two of the original members leaving halfway through. In 2006, the only two female members launched their own band Booty Luv, which was taking off following the success of their debut single "Boogie 2nite". After their second album failed to chart and with low sales of their last two singles, the band decided to split. In May 2012, the four members from the third line-up reformed and toured Australia with S Club 3.

Technotronic was a Belgian electronic music project formed in 1987 by Jo Bogaert, who originally gained popularity in Europe as a solo artist with various new beat projects, including Acts of Madmen and Nux Nemo. Together with rapper Manuela Kamosi, he produced the single "Pump Up the Jam", which was originally an instrumental released under the name The Pro 24s. Based on Farley Jackmaster Funk's "The Acid Life", this instrumental initially included vocal samples from Eddie Murphy's "Delirious" live set from 1983 and was months later replaced by newer music, along with lyrics from Kamosi prior to the song's international release in September 1989. With Bogaert adopting the name Thomas De Quincey, a front for the act was put together, utilizing Congolese-born fashion model Felly Kilingi who was presented as the group's rapper, appearing on the single's cover art and in the music video.

"Luv Ya" was released as the album's third and final single, and reached a peak position of number-fifteen on the Australian ARIA singles chart. It remained on the ARIA charts for a relatively short five weeks, and went uncertified. Unlike its predecessors, it failed to chart on the New Zealand RIANZ singles chart. In 2005 it was nominated for the MTV Australian Video Music Awards for Best R&B video.
"Loungin" is the third and final single by American rapper LL Cool J from his sixth studio album Mr. Smith. It was released as a single by Def Jam Recordings on June 25, 1996. The LP version was produced by Rashad "Ringo" Smith and featured backing vocals by R&B duo Terri & Monica. The Radio Remix Edit, titled "Loungin ", was remixed by Trackmasters and featured backing vocals by R&B group Total.
