Janepher Mbabazi Kyomuhendo (born 24 December 1979) is a Ugandan accountant by profession who also served as the District Woman Representative for Kagadi District in the 10th parliament of Uganda [1] and re-elected in the 11th parliament. Janepher Mbabazi Kyomuhendo attended Nyakayojo Secondary School for her Ordinary level education and she got her Uganda Certificate of Education in 1996. She complete her Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education from Kinoni Girls School in 1998. She later went for her further studies at Nkumba University from where she was awarded a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2004. She then went for her Master of Business Administration at Nkumba University and she finished it in 2009. [3]
Janepher Mbabazi Kyomuhendo worked as a Business Manager for AIM Engineering (U) Ltd from 2005 to 2007. She was an Internal Auditor for Mengo Hospital from 2007 to 2009. She became a Finance and Administration Manager for AIM Engineering (U) Ltd Archived 2022-10-08 at the Wayback Machine from 2009 to 2012. In ILISO Consulting (Pty) Ltd, she was the Finance and Administration Manager from 2012 to 2015. She became a woman Representative Member of Parliament for Kagadi District in the 10th Parliament of Uganda from 2016 to 2021. [6] [3]
She was a member of the Committee of Public Accounts (Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises-COSASE) Committee [4] and also she was appointed to be a member of Physical Infrastructure committee. [4] She is now the Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights in Parliament and has been vocal about the Human Rights Defenders Protection Bill and the National Legal Aid Bill. [7] On the Presidential Affairs Committee, she has warned against the use of Karamoja to amass illicit wealth. [8]
She has distributed supplies and financial support to local saving and credit cooperative organizations (SACCOS). She has also sponsored football and netball tournaments, covered tuition fees for 20 students at a vocational institution, and donated kitchenware. Additionally, she awards scholarships to students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance. In 2020, she donated 1,497 hoes, 127 saucepans, and 3,048 plates to the inhabitants of 127 villages within the Muhorro town council, as well as Mpeefu and Muhorro sub-counties. [9]
Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga is a Ugandan lawyer and politician who served as the Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda from 19 May 2011 until 21 May 2021. She currently serves as the First Deputy Prime Minister of Uganda. She concurrently serves as Minister for East African Community Affairs, in the Cabinet of Uganda.
Anita Annet Among is a Ugandan accountant, lawyer and politician who is the Speaker of the 11th Parliament of Uganda since 2022. She is named in the torture complaint against the Ugandan government that was submitted with the International Criminal Court.
Davinia Esther Anyakun is a female Ugandan politician and a procurement and logistics professional. She has been the woman Member of Parliament for Nakapiripirit District since 2016, on the ruling National Resistance Movement political party ticket.

Stella Namoe Nyomera, commonly referred to as Namoe Stella Nyomera is a female Ugandan politician and social scientist. She belongs to the ruling National Resistance Movement party serving as the District Woman Representative for Napak District in Uganda's 10th Parliament, a positioned she occupied since 2006.
Aisha Sekindi is a Ugandan educator and legislator. As of February 2022, she serves as Uganda's Minister of State for Water and the woman representative for Kalungu district in Uganda's eleventh parliament. She replaced Hon. Ronald Kibuule who handed over the office in July 2021. She held the same position in Uganda's tenth parliament. Politically, she is affiliated to the National Resistance Movement under whose ticket she contested in the 2016 general election, achieving victory over Aisha Naluyati Waligo of the Democratic Party Uganda (DP).
Teddy Nambooze is a Ugandan accountant and a legislator. She serves as the elected Woman Member of Parliament for Mpigi district in Uganda's 11th parliament. Politically, she is affiliated to National Unity Platform (NUP) under whose ticket she contested and won in the 2021 general elections.
Rose Lilly Akello is a Ugandan politician and social worker representing Karenga District as the district woman member of parliament in the eleventh parliament of Uganda. In the ninth and tenth parliament, she served as the district woman member of parliament representing Kaabong District. Rose opted to represent Karenga District instead of Kaabong district because Karenga was carved out of Kaabong on 1 July 2019. She became the Kaabong District Woman MP after winning a by-election in 2017 against Ms Christine Tubo Nakwang. She is affiliated to the ruling political party, NRM.

Hon. Jovrine Kyomukama Kaliisa is a Ugandan politician and businesswoman, currently serving as the National Deputy Coordinator of the Parish Development Model.She was the district woman representative of Ibanda and affiliated to the National Resistance Movement political party. In 2021-2026 elections, she was the aspiring Woman MP for Ibanda District under the National Resistance Movement political party, however she didn't win the elections.
Annie Logiel was a female Ugandan politician, a trained nurse, founder of Karamoja Traditional Healers Association, and district woman representative of Moroto in the 10th Parliament of Uganda under the National Resistance Movement political party. She was elected in 2016 and passed on in 2017. She died at the age of 48 at the Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen in Denmark where she was taken for an operation to remove a tumour on her brain. It was reported by her family that she went through the brain tumour operation but later developed complications leading to her death.
