The Bolivarian Games are a regional multi-sport event held in honor of Simón Bolívar, and organized by the Bolivarian Sports Organization. The event is open to athletes from Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela. In 2010, the ODEBO decided to include Chile as the seventh member of ODEBO. Except Panama, all other participating countries are Andean states.
The II Bolivarian Games were a multi-sport event held between December 25, 1947, and January 8, 1948, at the Estadio Nacional de Perú in Lima, Perú. The Games were organized by the Bolivarian Sports Organization (ODEBO).

Kristin Klein Keefe, more commonly known as Kristin Klein, is an American retired volleyball player who played as an outside hitter. She represented the United States national team at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, finishing in seventh place.
Denisse Fajardo García, more commonly known as Denisse Fajardo, is a Peruvian former volleyball player and a three-time Olympian for her native country. Fajardo won the silver medal at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, after playing the Soviet Union in the final. She also competed at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, where Peru reached the semi-finals and lost to the United States, and finally finished in fourth place.

Marlenis Costa Blanco, more commonly known as Marlenis Costa, is a Cuban former volleyball player and three-time Olympic champion. Costa was a member of the Cuban women's national volleyball team that won gold medals in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, and the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. As a setter, she was one of the key players in the dominance of the Cuban national team in the 1990s. Due to her versatility, she was also an effective attacker.
Magalys Carvajal Rivera, more commonly known as Magaly Carvajal, is a retired Cuban volleyball player and two-time Olympian. As a middle blocker, she led Cuba to gold medals in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona and 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
Marta Sánchez Salfrán is a Cuban former volleyball player and two-time Olympian who helped Cuba win a gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics and a bronze medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics. She also won a gold medal at the 1995 Pan American Games and a silver medal at the 1999 and 2003 Pan American Games.
Natalia María Málaga Dibos, more commonly known as Natalia Málaga, is a former volleyball player and coach from Peru. Málaga participated in four Summer Olympics with the Peruvian women's national volleyball team. She placed sixth in 1980 in Moscow, fourth in 1984 in Los Angeles, won a silver medal in 1988 in Seoul, and placed eleventh in 2000 in Sydney.

Luisa Estela Fuentes Quijandría, more commonly known as Lucha Fuentes, is a retired volleyball player from Peru who played with the Peruvian women's national volleyball team in the 1968 and 1976 Summer Olympics. As the captain of the Peruvian team, she was nicknamed "La Gran Capitana".
Ihosvany Hernández Rivera, more commonly known as Ihosvany Hernández, is a Cuban former volleyball player and three-time Olympian. Hernández played with the Cuban men's national volleyball team at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, and the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. He was the captain of the Cuban team at the Sydney Olympics. Standing at 2.06 meters (6'9") in height, he was a middle blocker.

Marco Alfonso Grimalt Krogh is a beach volleyball player representing the Chilean national volleyball team. He has participated in the Pan American Games in 2011, 2015, 2019, and 2023, as well as the South American Games in 2010 and 2014. He represented Chile at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Irma Cordero was a Peruvian volleyball player. Cordero competed at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City and the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. She was the captain of the Peruvian team in the late 1960s and 1970s.
Teresa Núñez Laos is a Peruvian former volleyball player and two-time Olympian. Nuñez competed with the Peruvian women's national volleyball team at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City and the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. While representing Peru, she won silver medals at the 1971 Pan American Games in Cali and the 1975 Pan American Games in Mexico City.
