Javier Bermejo

Javier Bermejo Merino (born 23 December 1978 in Puertollano [1] ) is a Spanish athlete specializing in the high jump. He competed at the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics without qualifying for the final. [2]

His personal best jump is 2.28 metres achieved in 2004 he matched this height twice in 2009, during competitions in Madrid and Castellón. [3] Extending beyond olympics, his career highlights include a gold medal at the 2006 lbero-American Championships and 9th-place overall finish at the 2005 European Indoor Championships. [4]
