Chisom Obinna Onyeke (born 27 October 1988), known professionally as JaySynths, is a Nigerian record producer and sound engineer best known for producing Teni's hit single "Case" in 2018. He is the originating record producer of Ojapiano and the first record producer to produce it, a fusion of the Igbo people’s Ọjà and South African sub genre of house music Amapiano, taking its name from Ọjà and Piano, he is also the producer behind the soundtracks of 2023 Netflix number 1 movie, Shanty Town.

Early life and education

JaySynths was born and raised in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria. He began his education at All Saints Primary School, Onitsha, before preceding to Government Secondary School, Karshi, Abuja. He graduated from University of Abuja with a degree in political science. [1]

Music career

At the age of four, JaySynths started playing musical instruments such as Keyboard at his parent church. After his family moved to Abuja, he began his career in music production and was later appointed the music director of a choir. [1] JaySynths has produced songs such as "Case" which won Best Pop Single at The Headies 2019, and its cover titled “Upgrade" which was performed by Nigerian musician Snazzy the Optimist. [2] And other singles he has produced including "Wait", "Fake Jersey", "Marry" and "Power Rangers" by Teni, "Daz How Star Do" by Skiibii. Personal life

JaySynths is married to an ex-beauty queen, Christy Daniels, whom he met during his undergraduate days in the university. They have one child together. [11]

African Giant is the fourth studio album by Nigerian singer Burna Boy. The album was released on July 26, 2019, by Spaceship Entertainment, Bad Habit, Atlantic Records and Warner Music. The Headies 2019 was the thirteenth edition of The Headies. It was held on October 19, 2019, at the Eko Convention Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. Themed "Power of a Dream", the ceremony was hosted by rapper Reminisce and actress Nancy Isime. After shortlisting thousands of entries submitted between January 2018 and June 2019, the organizers of the ceremony announced the nominees on 1 October 2019. Burna Boy set a record for the most nominations in one night with 10 nominations. Teni followed with 6 and Wizkid with 5. The ceremony featured performances from a number of artists, including Styl-Plus, Sunny Neji, Duncan Mighty, Teni and Victor AD. Teni won the most awards with 4. Rema won the Next Rated award, beating Fireboy DML, Joeboy, Lyta, Victor AD and Zlatan.

Ajebo Hustlers are a Nigerian Afrobeat and Highlife duo from Port Harcourt, Nigeria, composed of Isaiah Precious a.k.a "Piego" a singer and George Dandeson a.k.a "Knowledge" a rapper. They met in 2010/2011 in a catering company where they both worked as waiters. Ajebo Hustlers were nominated at the 2022 Headies Awards for songwriter of The Year and won the Best Duo at the Soundcity MVP Awards of 2023.

Akintunde Abiodun Timileyin, known professionally as T.I Blaze, is a Nigerian singer, and songwriter currently signed to Dvpper Music. He rose to stardom with the release of his sleeper hit single "Sometimes" in 2021 which spawned success in 2022, following the remix with one of Nigerian most influential artists in Africa Olamide, which earned him his first chart entry at number three on Nigeria TurnTable Songs chart, and at number sixteen, on TurnTable End of the Year Top 100 of 2022.
