Jean M. Hunhoff [2] (born December 30,1953) is an American politician who was a Republican member of the South Dakota Senate from 2021 to 2025. She also served in the South Dakota House of Representatives representing the 18th district from 2001 to 2007 and again from 2015 to 2021. She previously served in the South Dakota Senate from 2007 to 2015. Hunhoff was the mayor of Yankton from 1995 until 1997.
Hunhoff earned her BSN from South Dakota State University,her MSN from the University of Nebraska Medical Center,and her MHA from the University of Minnesota Medical School.
