Before reaching the NHL, Carlson played junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the London Knights and played professionally with the Capitals' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Hershey Bears. He also participated internationally for the United States in the 2010 World Juniors and 2014 Winter Olympics. Carlson won the Stanley Cup as a member of the Capitals in 2018, as the highest scoring defenseman during the playoffs.
Christian David Hanson is an American former professional ice hockey player. He last played in the St. Louis Blues organization in the NHL. Hanson played college hockey for the University of Notre Dame. He was not selected in the NHL Entry Draft, but signed a contract as a free agent with the Toronto Maple Leafs after his senior season.
Slap Shot 3: The Junior League is a 2008 Canadian-American sports film directed by Richard Martin and starring Greyston Holt and Lynda Boyd. It follows a junior version of the Charlestown Chiefs who fight their way to fame with a new coach and the Hanson Brothers in tow. It is the direct-to-video film sequel to the 2002 direct-to-video film Slap Shot 2: Breaking the Ice.
