Jeffrey Buis (born 27 December 2001) is a Dutch motorcycle racer. He achieved the title of world champion in the Supersport 300 category at the Estoril Circuit in 2020 and at the Algarve International Circuit in 2023. [1] [2]
Buis made his debut at the Yamaha R3 Cup in 2018, winning his inaugural race. [3] The second round of the Yamaha R3 Cup took place on the Oschersleben track, where he obtained second place. [4]
On 7 December 2018, Dutch outfit MTM Motoport announced Buis and Dion Otten as their new riders for the 2019 Supersport 300 World Championship, [5] in addition to Scott Deroue and Robert Schotman, all equipped with Kawasaki Ninja 400s.
In his debut season in a world championship, Buis achieved an eighth place as his best finish at the Magny-Cours circuit and finished the season in fourteenth position overall. He continued in the Supersport 300 world championship also in the 2020 season, always with the MTM Motoport team. He obtained his first podium, a second place, in race 1 of the Portimão grand prix, in a race interrupted by a red flag a few laps from the end, when Ana Carrasco led the race, was followed by Buis who was only 0.057s behind second and with the third classified more than four seconds off the lead. On August 29, Buis took his first pole position and won his first race during the Aragon grand prix and the next day he won his second consecutive race. [6]
In Portimao 2023, Buis finished as the 11th driver on the track. With a place in the top 13 he would regain the world champion title. This racer from Steenwijkerwold wrote history by being the first person to win two WorldSSP 300 titles. Buis immediately received congratulations from his compatriots Loris Veneman and Ruben Bijman, and was later extensively honored in the parc fermé.

Anthony Keith West,, is an Australian motorcycle road racer. He most recently raced in the 2019 Brazilian Superbike Championship for the Kawasaki Racing Team. West was suspended from participating at any FIM sanctioned events for 24 months due to testing positive for banned substances from 8 July 2018 to 14 September 2020. In 2018 he competed in the Supersport World Championship, aboard a Kawasaki ZX-6R and in the Asia Road Race SS600 Championship, aboard a Yamaha YZF-R6.
Alessandro "Sandro" Cortese is a retired German motorcycle racer, who last competed in 2020 World Superbike Championship for Team Pedercini. Cortese won his first world title in the Moto3 class, in 2012, and his second in the Supersport World Championship, in 2018. He lives in Berkheim, Germany.
Dominique Aegerter is a Swiss professional circuit racer of solo motorcycles, competing in World superbike Championship. He won the Supersport World Championship in 2021 and 2022. He also won the MotoE World Cup in 2022. He is also the first Swiss rider to set foot on a world SBK podium.
Luca Scassa is an Italian motorcycle racer who is a Ducati Corse test rider. He previously competed in the MotoGP World Championship, the Superbike World Championship the Supersport World Championship, the AMA Superbike Championship and the British Superbike Championship. He was the Italian Superbike champion in 2008 riding a MV Agusta. In 2022 FIM Endurance World Championship he rides for Italian based No Limits Motor Team in superstock category.

Jorge Navarro Sanchez is a Spanish motorcycle racer currently competing in the Supersport World Championship, for Ducati's Orelac Racing Verdnatura team. He has previously raced in the Moto2 and Moto3 classes during his Grand Prix motorcycle racing career, scoring two wins and nineteen podiums in total. In his early career, he also competed in the FIM CEV Moto3 series, finishing as runner-up to Fabio Quartararo in the 2014 championship, and fifth in 2013.
Toprak Razgatlıoğlu is a Turkish motorcycle road racer. He won two World Superbike Championship titles. He raced a factory BMW M1000RR in the 2024 season and won his 2nd title in the Superbike World Championship in his debut season for BMW. He first rode the BMW at private tests held after the 2023 season at Portimão and Jerez.
