The Jelajah Malaysia is an annual professional road bicycle racing stage race held in Malaysia since 1963. The race is part of the UCI Asia Tour and was classified by the International Cycling Union (UCI) as a 2.2 category races. The race exists of only a men's competition over seven stages.

History

Jelajah Malaysia is the oldest bicycle race in Malaysia and it is ranked 2.2 class by UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale). Since its inception in 1963, Jelajah Malaysia is slowly and steadily beginning to be one of the most prestigious bicycle races in Asia amongst Asian and International teams.

Through wide coverage that is empowered by local and international media, Jelajah Malaysia had proven itself as an important event in promoting Malaysia to the world as a tourism and leisure destination.

It is a platform for young Malaysian riders to compete and gain valuable experience in a cycling race. Currently many riders that is representing Malaysia now starts from their participation in the Jelajah Malaysia and the number of Malaysian riders that is accepted into international teams had increased. The exposure through Jelajah Malaysia makes the Malaysian rider a great bicycle rider for the future.

The 2010 Jelajah Malaysia, a cycling stage race that took place in Malaysia. It was held from 27 April to 1 May 2010. There were five stages with a total of 822.1 kilometres. In fact, the race was sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale as a 2.2 category race and was part of the 2009–10 UCI Asia Tour calendar.

In fact, the race was sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale as a 2.2 category race and was part of the 2010–11 UCI Asia Tour calendar.

Mohammed Adiq Husainie Othman is a Malaysian professional racing cyclist, who last rode for UCI Continental team Team Sapura Cycling. He competed for Malaysia at the 2012 Olympic Games, in the men's road race. He also competed at the 2010 and 2018 Commonwealth Games, in track cycling.

Mohamed Harrif Saleh is a Malaysian professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team Terengganu Cycling Team.

Soufiane Haddi is a Moroccan road bicycle racer, who rides for Emirati amateur team Abu Dhabi Cycling Club. He competed at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics in the Men's road race, but failed to finish either event.

CCACHE x Par Küp is a road cycling team founded in 2010 that is based in Australia. It competes in its home country as well as in the UCI Asia Tour. The race was run at the highest category apart from those races which make up the UCI World Tour, and was rated by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) as a 2.HC race as part of the 2018 UCI Asia Tour.

The Tour of Peninsular is an annual professional road bicycle racing stage race held in Malaysia since 2019. The race is part of the UCI Asia Tour and was classified by the International Cycling Union (UCI) as a 2.1 category race. The first edition was won by Spanish rider Marcos García.
