Jennifer Ykema [1] (born September 16, 1983) [2] [3] is a Canadian professional wrestler, better known by her ring name Jennifer Blake, [6] and is often referred to by her nickname "Girl Dynamite". She is best known for her work in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide in Mexico and Shimmer Women Athletes in the United States.
Blake made her first wrestling appearance in 2004 as a ring announcer. [1] Following this, she transitioned into a managerial role and began acting as a valet for Derek Wylde and Cody Deaner, while receiving training from Deaner.
Blake made her debut for Shimmer Women Athletes on April 26, 2008, where she teamed with Danyah to face the International Home Wrecking Crew (Rain and Jetta) in a losing effort. Later that night, Blake and Danyah were defeated by The Experience (Lexie Fyfe and Malia Hosaka). On Volume 19 on July 5, she made her debut in singles competition in a losing effort to Allison Danger. Later in that night on Volume 20, Blake and Danger lost to the Canadian NINJAs (Portia Perez and Nicole Matthews) in a tag team match. On October 19, she took part in a tag team tournament along with LuFisto. After eliminating the Canadian NINJAs, they were defeated by the International Home Wrecking Crew. Later in that night, she lost to Cheerleader Melissa in a singles match. On Volume 24 on May 2, 2009, Blake gained her first victory in singles competition by defeating Amber O'Neal. As part of Volume 25, she lost to Rain. Later in the night, as part of the Volume 26, she was defeated by Jessie McKay in a four–way match, which also included Kellie Skater and Melanie Cruise. She was scheduled for the 4th anniversary on November 8, 2009, but was unable to appear due to the possibility to receive more training in Mexico. She returned to the promotion on April 11, 2010, when she teamed with Allison Danger to defeat Melanie Cruise and Annie Social in a tag team match. [7]
In early 2009, Blake took part in the tapings of Jimmy Hart's Wrestlicious, where she appeared as "The Ice Princess" Autumn Frost. [2] On the edition of March 10, 2010 of Takedown, she competed in her first match for the promotion, defeating Paige Webb. [8] On March 24, 2010, edition of Takedown she appeared in JV's Crib segment with Toni the Top and JV Rich. [9] On the edition of November 4, 2010 of Takedown, she competed in the "Hoedown Throwdown" Battle Royal, but was eliminated by Alexandra the Great. [10]
In 2009, Blake branched out into Mexico, wrestling in the Extreme Air Wrestling (Lucha Libre Extrema Aérea, EAW) promotion. She made her debut on June 6, 2009 in Teziutlán, Puebla, teaming with Derrick Nikerson (Neikirk) in a losing effort against John Scott and Ericka del Rico. [11] On June 20, she picked up her first victory by defeating Sensual Rain in San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco. [12] On August 21, 2009, at Verano de Escandalo she made her debut for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, initially using the ring name Jennifer Blade, before returning to her Jennifer Blake ring name. [5] [13] In the promotion she is part of the heel stable La Legión Extranjera , led by Konnan. At the 2010 Rey de Reyes show her Legión stable mates Rain, Christina Von Eerie and Sexy Star faced off against Cinthia Moreno, Mari and Faby Apache, a match which Moreno won for her team by pinning Sexy Star. [14] During a post Rey de Reyes interview Sexy Star claimed that the Apaches and Cintia Moreno were nothing but maids, which led to AAA booking a match between Cinthia Moreno, Faby and Mari Apache against Sexy Star, Rain and Jennifer Blade in a Triplemanía XVIII match where the person pinned or submitted would have to be the winning team's slave for a month. [15] At Triplemanía La Legión defeated Moreno and the Apaches, when Blade pinned Mari, thanks in part to the biased refereering by Hijo del Tirantes. Following the match Konnan ordered Mari Apache to begin her maid duty right away by cleaning up their dressing room. The stipulation expired on July 6, 2010. [16] On August 14, 2010 at Verano de Escandalo Blake teamed up with Alan Stone, Mini Abismo Negro and Yuriko in a losing effort against Cynthia Moreno, El Elegido, Octagoncito and Pimpinela Escarlata in a Relevos Atómicos de locura match. [17] On March 13, 2011, Blake and her La Sociedad stablemate Alan Stone defeated Faby Apache and Pimpinela Escarlata to win the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship. [18] In June Blake began accompanying the members of La Maniarquía to counteract Nanyzh Rock, the valet of their rival Heavy Metal. [19] [20] On July 31 at Verano de Escándalo , Blake received her first shot at the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship in an eight-way elimination match, but was unable to win the title. [20] After a seven month long hiatus from AAA, Blake returned to the promotion on July 27, 2012, when she teamed with Mari Apache in a tag team match, where they were defeated by Faby Apache and Lolita. [21] On October 7 at Héroes Inmortales , Blake and Stone lost the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship to Halloween and Mari Apache in a four-way match, which also included the teams of Atomic Boy and Faby Apache, and Fénix and Lolita. [22] [23] On November 27, Blake made her Japanese debut, when she took part in the 2012 Reina de Reinas tournament co-produced by AAA and Pro Wrestling Wave in Tokyo's Korakuen Hall. Blake was eliminated from the tournament in her opening match by Sexy Star. [24]
On February 3, 2013, Blake turned technica for the first time in AAA, when she was attacked after a match by Mari Apache and Taya, before being saved by Faby Apache, La Jarochita and Lolita. [25] On March 1, Blake lost to her rival Taya in the first round of a tournament for the vacant AAA Reina de Reinas Championship, after interference from Mari Apache, Sexy Lady and Lufisto. [26]
Bonnie Maxson, better known by her ring name Rain, is an American professional wrestler. She is best known for her time in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), Shine Wrestling and the Mexican Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) promotions. She formerly teamed with Lacey to form The Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew, but following Lacey's retirement, she teamed with British wrestler Jetta to form The International Home Wrecking Crew. Rain was also the inaugural Shine Champion.
The AAA Reina de Reinas Championship is a singles women's professional wrestling championship promoted by Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). It is the only women's championship in AAA.
Aero Star is a Mexican luchador, which is a masked professional wrestler currently signed to Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). Aero Star won the 2008 Alas de Oro tournament and is known for his high risk moves off the top rope or off the arena's lighting structures.
Xóchitl Guadalupe Hamada Villarreal is a Mexican semi-retired Luchadora or professional wrestler. She is the daughter of professional wrestler Gran Hamada, the sister of wrestler Ayako Hamada and the sister-in-law of Tiger Mask IV. Hamada was once married to Mexican wrestler Silver King and is currently married to Mexican wrestler Pentagon Black. Hamada has worked for most of her professional wrestling career in Mexico, making occasional appearances in her father's home country of Japan. Xóchitl Hamada has worked for Mexico's two largest wrestling companies, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA). She's held the CMLL World Women's Championship and she was the first AAA Reina de Reinas.
The Rey de Reyes 2010 was a major annual professional wrestling show that also hosted that year's version of the Rey de Reyes tournament, produced by the Mexican wrestling promotion AAA. The show took place on March 12, 2010 in Querétaro, Mexico at Plaza de Toros Santa Maria in Querétaro, Querétaro, Mexico. The event was the 14th event produced under the Rey de Reyes name and also the 14th time that the Rey de Reyes tournament was held. The 2010 Rey de Reyes tournament saw Chessman win the title by defeating Marco Corleone and Hernandez. In addition to the Rey de Reyes tournament, the card featured a main event for the AAA Mega Championship, where champion El Mesias lost the title to Electroshock in a match that also featured Total Nonstop Action Wrestling's (TNA) Mr. Anderson. The surprise of the evening was the return of L.A. Park to AAA after years of legal battles over the "La Parka" name, mask and likeness. Upon his return, he immediately targeted AAA's version of La Parka.
Triplemanía XVI was the sixteenth Triplemanía professional wrestling show scripted and produced by Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA). The show took place on June 13, 2008 in Mexico City, Mexico. The show was available on pay-per-view (PPV) in Mexico, the first Triplemanía show to be offered on PPV. The main event featured a singles match for the AAA Mega Championship. Champion Cibernético defended against El Zorro.
Triplemanía XVIII was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the AAA promotion that took place on June 6, 2010 at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, Mexico. The show featured eight with the main events being a "dream match" between L.A. Park and La Parka with the rights to the La Parka name on the line as well as Electroshock defending the AAA Mega Championship against Dr. Wagner Jr. The show also featured a performance by El Tri, a Mexican blues/hard rock band after the wrestling portion of the show was over. All four title matches of the event saw the championship change hands, the show also featured appearances of wrestlers from competing wrestling promotions International Wrestling Revolution Group and Los Perros del Mal. The main event between L.A. Park and La Parka originally saw L.A. Park pin La Parka. Later on it was announced that the result thrown out by the Mexico City Boxing and Wrestling Commission due to outside interference, ruling it a no-contest, but the decision was reversed the next day as AAA declared that L.A. Park had earned the rights to the name "La Parka" with his victory. However, three days later AAA announced that they would respect the Commission's decision and declared the match thrown out.
Dulce Maria García Rivas is a Mexican luchadoraenmascarada, or masked female professional wrestler, mixed martial artist and professional boxer who is better known by the ring name Sexy Star. She is best known for her work in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), where she is a three-time AAA Reina de Reinas Champion, while also being a former one-time AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champion. She previously wrestled under the name Dulce Poly and held both the FILL Women's Championship and the FILL Mixed Tag Team Championship under that name. She worked for Lucha Underground, where she was a former Lucha Underground Champion and Gift of the Gods Champion. She is the first woman to win the Lucha Underground Championship and, by extension, the first woman to hold a World Heavyweight Championship in a major wrestling promotion.
Fabiola Balbuena Torres is a Mexican Luchadora, or female professional wrestler known for her time with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) where she performed as Faby Apache.
Mariella Balbuena Torres is a Mexican Luchadora, or female professional wrestler best known under the ring name Mari Apache. She is the daughter of Luchador Gran Apache and the sister of luchadora Faby Apache. She has wrestled for an extended period of time in Japan but is best known for working in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide along with her father and sister. She is a former one-time AAA Reina de Reinas Champion and a two-time AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champion, having held the title with her father and Halloween. Torres has previously wrestled under the ring name Princesa Apache as well as the enmascarada (masked) characters Love and Lady Venum.
Flavia Antonia Moreno León is a Mexican Luchadora, or female professional wrestler, best known under the ring name Cynthia Moreno She is working for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). Moreno is a part of an extended wrestling family that includes her father Alfonso Moreno, her brother who wrestles as El Oriental and her sisters, Esther, Alda, and Rossy Moreno. She is a former two-time holder of the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship with her brother El Oriental.
Mario González Lozano is a Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler, who works as an exótico for the Mexican Lucha Libre AAA World Wide promotion and Lucha Underground under the ring name Pimpinela Escarlata. As Escarlata he is a former AAA Reina de Reinas Champion, Mexican National Middleweight Champion and AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champion. His ring name is Spanish for "The Scarlet Pimpernel" and is taken from the fictional character of the same name.
Verano de Escándalo (2010) was a major professional wrestling event produced by AAA, which took place on August 14, 2010. It was originally scheduled to take place at Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico but due to Nuevo León suffering damage from Hurricane Alex the show was moved to Plaza de Toros la Concordia in Orizaba, Veracruz. The show was the 14th show promoted under the Verano de Escándalo name. The title is Spanish for "Summer of Scandal" and has been AAA's annual summer show since 1997. It featured a double main event with the first match being a three way match for the AAA Mega Championship with reigning champion Dr. Wagner Jr. successfully defending against his brother Silver King and Vampiro. The other main event is a "AAA vs. Perros del Mal" six man tag team match pitting AAA representatives La Parka, Cibernético and El Mesias against Perros Perro Aguayo Jr., L.A. Park and Damián 666 which Los Perros del Mal won when Perro Aguayo Jr. pinned El Mesias. The show also saw the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship change hands as Mari Apache won the title from Sexy Star.
Verano de Escándalo (2011) was a major professional wrestling event produced by the AAA promotion, which took place on July 31, 2011, at the Plaza Nuevo Progreso in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The title of the event, which has been AAA's annual summer show since 1997, is Spanish for "Summer of Scandal". The event featured seven matches with the main event featuring Los Perros del Mal and Los Psycho Circus facing each other in a Hair vs. Mask Lucha de Apuestas steel cage match, continuing the storyline rivalry, which started in October 2010. The event also featured Jeff Jarrett defending the AAA Mega Championship against Dr. Wagner Jr. and L.A. Park. The event took place only six weeks and four television tapings after Triplemanía XIX, an abnormally short amount of time between two major AAA events; for example there would be ten weeks between Verano de Escándalo and the following major event, Héroes Inmortales. Subsequently, AAA made the decision not to make the event a pay-per-view.

She has won the 2003, 2005, and 2008 Reina de Reinas tournaments and has held the Mexican National Women's Championship two times. After working for AAA for the majority of her career, she jumped to Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in September 2010.
Verano de Escándalo (2017) is major professional wrestling event produced by the Mexican Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) promotion, which took place on June 4, 2017 in "Gimnasio Josué Neri Santos " in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico. The Verano de Escándalo event has been a regular summer event for AAA since 1997, only skipping the event in 2012, 2013 and 2016. 2017 marked the 18th time AAA has used that name for an event.
Triplemanía XXV was a professional wrestling event produced and scripted by the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). The event took place on August 26, 2017, and was held in the Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City, Mexico. This was the sixth consecutive Triplemanía to be held at the arena. Also, the event was the 25th year in a row that AAA had held a Triplemanía show, and the 31st show held under the Triplemanía banner since 1993. The annual Triplemanía show is AAA's biggest show of the year, serving as the culmination of major storylines and feature wrestlers from all over the world competing in what has been described as AAA's version of WrestleMania or their Super Bowl event.

Lady Shani is the ring name of a Mexican luchadora enmascarada, or masked professional wrestler, currently under contract with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. She made her debut in 2009 and until 2015 worked under the more generic name Sexy Lady before adopting her current name that same year. Initially she portrayed a ruda but in 2017 she changed sides and became a tecnica. She is the cousin of Ludark Shaitan, with whom she both teamed with and fought against early in her career. Lady Shani's real name is not a matter of public record, which is traditional for masked wrestlers in Mexico who have not been unmasked.
