Jere Paul O'Neil Surber (born 1948) is an emeritus professor of philosophy at the University of Denver. [1] [2] He was the president of Hegel Society of America from 2016 to 2022. [3] [4]
Surber earned a BA in Biology,Philosophy,and Psychology from Texas Christian University in 1969,followed by an MA in Philosophy from the same institution in 1970. He completed a PhD in Philosophy in 1974 through a joint program between Pennsylvania State University and the University of Bonn. [1]
