Jericho Sirens is the fourth studio album by American post-hardcore band Hot Snakes. It was released in March 2018 under Sub Pop.

The album was included in Mondo Sonoro 's best albums of 2018 year-end list, ranking at #26. [13]

Hot Snakes were an American rock band led by Rick Froberg and John Reis, formed in 1999 in San Diego, California. Reis and Froberg had previously performed together in Pitchfork and Drive Like Jehu, after which Reis found international success with Rocket from the Crypt. Hot Snakes disbanded in 2005 but reunited in 2011, remaining active until Froberg's death in 2023.

Audit in Progress is the third studio album by the San Diego, California, rock band Hot Snakes, released in 2004 by Swami Records. It was recorded in a similar manner to the band's previous two albums, with guitarist John Reis taking time off from his main band Rocket From the Crypt. In comparison to the band's previous albums, Audit in Progress is more aggressive and primal. Audit in Progress would be Hot Snakes' final studio album until 2018's Jericho Sirens, as the members decided to disband following a tour of Australia in Spring 2005.

El mal querer is the second studio album by Spanish singer and songwriter Rosalía. It was released on 2 November 2018 by Columbia Records. The album was written by Rosalía and co-produced with El Guincho on an initial low budget as an independent artist. Presented as experimental and conceptual; a "romantic document that seamlessly links flamenco's characteristic melodrama to the storytelling of modern, woman-flexing R&B", the album follows the anonymous 13th-century Occitan novel Flamenca. Mondo Sonoro, sometimes shortened to la Mondo, is a Spanish magazine established in 1994 which focuses on current alternative, popular and indie music, as well as national emerging bands. Co-founded by Sergio Marqués and Jose Macarro in Barcelona, Dani López joined them in 1995 and they are still in charge of the magazine. By 2019, Mondo Sonoro had a circulation of 125.000 monthly copies and over two million visits to its website every year.

Natalia "Nathy" Peluso is an Argentine, Spanish, and Italian singer and songwriter. Born in Argentina and raised in Spain, Peluso became interested in the performing arts at an early age, performing cover songs at musical bars in her teenage years. After graduating King Juan Carlos University, Peluso relocated to Barcelona to pursue a professional career in music, with her first releases Esmeralda (2017) and La Sandunguera (2018) being confected independently. Peluso slowly started to become recognized in Spain. After signing to Sony Music, she started working on her breakthrough album Calambre (2020) for which she won the Latin Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album in 2021. Calambre (transl. 'Cramp') is the debut studio album by Argentine singer and rapper Nathy Peluso. Recorded between Barcelona, Buenos Aires and Los Angeles, the album was released on 2 October 2020 by Sony Music. Calambre won the Premio Gardel for Best Alternative Pop Album and was also nominated for Album of the Year and Best Cover Design at its 23rd annual edition. The album's second single, "Buenos Aires" also won Record of the Year at the ceremony. Calambre was awarded Best Alternative Music Album at the 22nd Latin Grammy Awards and Best Urban Music Album at the 2021 Premios Odeón. The album was nominated for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards.

Warm Up is the debut extended play (EP) by Spanish singer-songwriter Bad Gyal. It was released on 19 March 2021 by Aftercluv Dance Lab and Interscope Records, and it is her first full-length release after being signed with these two labels in 2019.
