Kingsville is a semi-rural, unincorporated community and census-designated place in Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. It is a close-knit and rustic community bounded by the Little Gunpowder Falls river and the Big Gunpowder Falls river which join to form the Gunpowder River. The population of Kingsville was 4,318 at the 2010 census.
Piscataway is an unincorporated community in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. It is one of the oldest European-colonized communities in the state. The Piscataway Creek provided sea transportation for export of tobacco. It is located near the prior Piscataway tribe village of Kittamaqundi.

It is a designated city historic district and divided into two sections: South Road/Sulgrave to the southeast and Dixon's Hill to the north. The Mount Washington Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990 with a boundary increase in 2001, with five contributing buildings and four contributing structures.

The Dickeyville Historic District is a National Register of Historic Places-listed community located just inside the western edge of Baltimore City, Maryland, near the intersection of Interstates 70 and 695 and adjacent to Kernan Hospital. A small community of about 140 homes and a historic mill, the village is on the banks of the Gwynns Falls and lies at the start of the Gwynns Falls Trail, a 15-mile (24 km) walking and biking trail that is part of the Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network. The village includes two main roads, Wetheredsville Road and Pickwick Road, and three smaller lanes, Hillhouse Road, Tucker Lane and Sekots Road.

The Mill Green Historic District is a National Register of Historic Places listed community located in Street, Maryland. The district consists of a small cluster of privately owned historic homes and buildings including a historic mill. The district is located at the junction of Mill Green Road and Prospect Road. Broad Creek flows through the district.
The Casselman Bridge is an historic transportation structure on the Casselman River, located immediately east of Grantsville in Garrett County, Maryland. The bridge was built in 1813-1814 as part of the National Road. Historic markers posted at each end read:

The Tyringham Shaker Settlement Historic District was a historic Shaker village on Jerusalem Road in Tyringham, Massachusetts. Among the buildings in the village were mills and workshops. There was a reduction in members prior to the American Civil War and in the 1870s the remaining "believers" moved to Hancock Shaker Village in Massachusetts and Enfield Shakers Village in Connecticut.
The Old Mill Road Bridge is a historic bridge near Rocky Ridge, Frederick County, Maryland, United States. The bridge spans Owens Creek southwest of Rocky Ridge on Old Mill Road. It is a Pratt half-hip through truss structure in a single span 69 feet (21 m) long and 16 feet (4.9 m). It was built in 1882 by the Pittsburgh Bridge Company, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Jericho Farm is a historic home located near Kingsville, Baltimore County, Maryland, United States near historic Jerusalem Mill Village. It is a large 2 1⁄2-story gable-roofed stone dwelling overlooking the Little Gunpowder Falls. The house was constructed in two periods: the original dwelling, built about 1780, was a 2 1⁄2-story, side-passage, double pile house; about 1820, a five-bay, 2 1⁄2-story, center-passage, single pile house was constructed against the south gable of the earlier building.
The Jericho Covered Bridge is a Burr arch through truss wooden covered bridge near Jerusalem, Harford County and Kingsville, Baltimore County, in Maryland, United States and near historic Jerusalem Mill Village. The bridge was constructed in 1865 across the Little Gunpowder Falls. This bridge is 88 feet (27 m) long and 14.7 feet (4.5 m) wide and is open to traffic.
Rocky Ridge is an unincorporated community in Frederick County, Maryland, United States. The name "Rocky Ridge" likely refers to a ridge of ironstone which runs through the area.

Jerusalem Mill Village is a living history museum that spans the 18th through early 20th centuries. One of the oldest and most intact mill villages in the U.S. state of Maryland, Jerusalem is located in Harford County, along the Little Gunpowder Falls River. It also serves as the headquarters of the Gunpowder Falls State Park. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 20, 1987. Also on the National Register of Historic Places and located nearby are Jericho Farm and the Jericho Covered Bridge.
Stone Hill Historic District is a national historic district in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is one of the original mill villages along the Jones Falls, having been developed circa 1845–1847 to house textile mill workers. Comprising seven blocks, the district includes 21 granite duplexes, a granite Superintendent's House, and a granite service building – all owned by Mount Vernon Mills from 1845 to 1925.
Franklintown Historic District is a national historic district in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is the result of a plan developed in 1832 by William H. Freeman (1790–1863), a local politician and entrepreneur. His plan evolved gradually over the course of several decades and owes its success to his untiring promotion of the village. The central feature is an oval plan with radiating lots around a central wooded park. The district includes an old stone grist mill known as Franklin Mill, the innovative radiating oval plan, and the associated hotel and commercial area. The key residential buildings are excellent examples of the "I"-house form and display steeply pitched cross gables found in vernacular rural buildings throughout much of Maryland.
Maryland Route 152 is a state highway in the US state of Maryland. The state highway runs 17.34 miles (27.91 km) from an entrance to Aberdeen Proving Ground in Edgewood north to MD 146 near Taylor. MD 152 parallels the western edge of Harford County, connecting the communities of Joppatowne and Fallston with Interstate 95 (I-95), U.S. Route 40, and US 1. The state highway north of Joppa was mostly built in the late 1920s and early 1930s. MD 152 south of Joppa was built around 1940; shortly thereafter, the highway was reconstructed as a wartime access project. The state highway originally had only a partial interchange with I-95; it was expanded to full interchange in the mid 1990s concurrent with the expansion of the highway to a four-lane divided highway through Joppa.
The Jericho Village Historic District encompasses the historic industrial and commercial center of the village of Jericho, Vermont. Stretched along Vermont Route 15 south of Browns River, which powered the village's industries for many years, the village center includes a well-preserved array of 19th and early 20th-century buildings. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
The Old Red Mill and Mill House are a historic 19th-century mill building and residence on Red Mill Drive in Jericho, Vermont. The mill was built in 1856 and enlarged later in the 19th century, accommodating then state-of-the art grain rollers, and was a prominent local business. The house was built in 1859, and is a good local example of Gothic Revival architecture. The mill is now a museum property of the local Jericho Historical Society. The mill building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972; the listing was expanded to include the house in 1976.
