Jessica da Silva Inchude (born 25 March 1996) is a Bissau-Guinea-born[ citation needed ] Portuguese shot putter and discus thrower.
At the 2016 African Championships she finished fourth in the shot put and ninth in the discus throw. At the 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games she won the gold medal in the discus and finished fourth in the shot put.
She competed in the women's shot put event at the 2016 Summer Olympics for Guinea-Bissau, where she finished 36th with a distance of 15.15 metres. She did not advance to the final. [1] She also competed at the 2017 World Championships without reaching the final. [2]
She competed in the women's shot put event at the 2024 Summer Olympics, this time for Portugal, where she advanced to the final and finished 8th. [3]
Dame Valerie Kasanita Adams is a retired New Zealand shot putter. She is a four-time World champion, four-time World Indoor champion, two-time Olympic, three-time Commonwealth Games champion and twice IAAF Continental Cup winner. She has a personal best throw of 21.24 metres (69.7 ft) outdoors and 20.98 metres (68.8 ft) indoors. These marks are Oceanian, Commonwealth and New Zealand national records. She also holds the Oceanian junior record (18.93 m) and the Oceanian youth record (17.54 m), as well as the World Championships record, World Indoor Championships record and Commonwealth Games record.
Faina Grigorievna Veleva-Melnik was a Soviet discus thrower, a 1972 Summer Olympics champion in the discus event. During her career she set 11 world records.

Stephanie Storp is a retired female shot putter from Germany. Her best performance was winning the bronze medal at the 1997 World Championships, with a throw of 19.22 metres. She also won the silver medal at the 1993 World Indoor Championships, and represented her country in the Summer Olympics of 1992 and 1996. She ended her athletics career in 1998, having taken up basketball as a new sport.

She was the 2012 gold medallist at the Ibero-American Championships in Athletics. Arcanjo initially won at the 2010 World Junior Championships in Athletics but was disqualified for doping.
Beverley Jones is a Paralympian from Wales competing in category F37 throwing events. Jones won a bronze medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games as an EAD in the 100m sprint. Jones has qualified for four Summer Paralympics from 2000 to 2012 finishing fourth twice, in the sprint in 2000 at Sydney and in the shot put at Athens in 2004.

She won the gold medal in the women's shot put F40 event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics held in Tokyo, Japan. In this event, she is also a two-time gold medalist at the World Para Athletics European Championships and a three-time medalist, including gold, at the World Para Athletics Championships.
Fathia Amaimia is a Tunisian Paralympic athlete of short stature. She competes in F41-classification throwing events. She represented Tunisia at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and she won the bronze medal in the women's discus throw F41 event. She also competed in the women's shot put F41 event where she finished in 6th place.
