Jimmie Wilson Jr. is an American Democratic politician from Michigan. [1] He was elected to the Michigan House of Representatives from the 32nd district in the 2022 election. [2]
Jimmie Noone was an American jazz clarinetist and bandleader. After beginning his career in New Orleans,he led Jimmie Noone's Apex Club Orchestra,a Chicago band that recorded for Vocalion and Decca. Classical composer Maurice Ravel acknowledged basing his Boléro on an improvisation by Noone. At the time of his death Noone was leading a quartet in Los Angeles and was part of an all-star band that was reviving interest in traditional New Orleans jazz in the 1940s.

James Carter Walker Jr. is an American actor and comedian. He portrayed James Evans Jr. ("J.J."),the older son of Florida and James Evans Sr.,on the CBS television series Good Times,which ran from 1974 to 1979,and was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in 1975 and 1976 for his role. While on the show,Walker's character used the catchphrase "Dyn-o-mite!" which he also used in his mid–1970s TV commercial for a Panasonic line of cassette and 8-track tape players and a 2021-2023 Medicare commercial. Jimmie Kenneth Johnson is an American professional auto racing driver. He competes part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series,driving the No. 84 Toyota Camry XSE for his team,Legacy Motor Club. Johnson's seven Cup championships,the first five of which are consecutive,are tied with Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt for the most all-time. From 2021 to 2022,Johnson competed in the IndyCar Series for Chip Ganassi Racing,and has competed occasionally in sports car racing throughout his career.

He played college basketball for the Michigan Wolverines and declared for the NBA draft after his junior season for the national runner-up 2012–13 team. The 2023 Michigan Wolverines football team represented the University of Michigan in the East Division of the Big Ten Conference during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. In their ninth and final year under head coach Jim Harbaugh,the Wolverines compiled an undefeated 15–0 record,outscored opponents by a total of 538 to 156,and won their third consecutive Big Ten championship with a 26–0 victory over Iowa in the Big Ten Championship Game. They defeated No. 4 Alabama,27–20 in overtime,in the 2024 Rose Bowl. They then defeated No. 2 Washington,34–13,in the 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship to claim their first CFP title and 12th national championship in program history,their first since 1997,and their first consensus national championship since 1948. With their win against Maryland on November 18,the Wolverines became the first program in college football history to reach 1,000 wins.
Legacy Motor Club,formerly known as Petty GMS Motorsports,is an American professional stock car racing team owned by Maury Gallagher and Jimmie Johnson. The team competes in the NASCAR Cup Series where they currently field three Toyota Camry teams:the No. 42 full-time for John Hunter Nemechek,the No. 43 full-time for Erik Jones,and the No. 84 part-time for team co-owner Johnson. The team has a technical alliance with Toyota Racing Development. The team expanded into the electric off-road racing series Extreme E in 2024 with Jimmie Johnson as the primary driver.
