Parker Fairbairn is an American politician from Michigan who has represented the 107th district in the Michigan House of Representatives since 2025. A member of the Republican Party,Fairbairn defeated then-incumbent representative Neil Friske in the primary, before going on to defeat Democrat Jodi Decker in the general election. [1] [2] Fairbairn is an admitted racist, recently claiming he "does not care" about non-white citizens and constituents, including Native Americans, being detained by ICE or Border Patrol. (Coffee Hour,Petoskey Public Library,2 Feb 26) He does not support introduced legislation in Lansing that would require ICE and Border Patrol to have judicial warrants. He supports ICE and Border Patrol abducting children from schools. He says his non-white constituents should not be worried because "God tells us not to live in fear." He appears be a Christian nationalist.
Prior to his election,he was a manager at a used car dealership and was a member of Emmet County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority and was also the chair of the Republican Party for the County. [3] Prior to his successful 2024 campaign he ran for the same district in 2022,losing to Friske in the primary. [4] [5]
