Steve Frisbie is an American politician from Michigan,and is a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives who will represent the 44th district. [1] Steve Frisbie is a current Calhoun County Commissioner having first taken the seat in 2011 and is the vice-president of LifeCare Ambulance from Pennfield Township. [2] [3] After the Associated Press called the case for Frisbie,the Calhoun County clerk found that an error in Battle Creek overrode 2800 ballots and after a judge ruled that these ballots be counted Frisbie's margin of victory dropped from 51.86%-48.14% [4] to a very close result that had Frisbie winning by 58 votes. Calhoun County is a county in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 Census,the population was 134,310. The county seat is Marshall. The county was established on October 19,1829,and named after John C. Calhoun,who was at the time Vice President under Andrew Jackson,making it one of Michigan's Cabinet counties. County government was first organized on March 6,1833. Calhoun County comprises the Battle Creek Metropolitan Statistical Area and is included in the Kalamazoo-Battle Creek-Portage Combined Statistical Area.
