The Jin River is a river in China's Jiangxi and Guangdong provinces. It is a right tributary of Guangdong's Bei or North River.
It rises in the southwestern Chongyi County,Jiangxi Province. The upper stream is called Changjiang Creek. The river runs southward joins Bei River at Baimangba,Renhua County in Guangdong Province. The river has a length of 108 kilometres (67 mi) and drains an area of 1,913 square kilometres (739 sq mi). [1]
Jiangxi is an inland province in the east of the People's Republic of China. Its major cities include Nanchang and Jiujiang. The 453,700 km2 (175,200 sq mi) Pearl River Basin drains the majority of Guangdong and Guangxi provinces,as well as parts of Yunnan,Guizhou,Hunan and Jiangxi;it also drains the northernmost parts of Vietnam's Northeast Cao Bằng and Lạng Sơn provinces. The Pearl River is famed as the river that flows through Guangzhou.
The Xiang River is the chief river of the Lake Dongting drainage system of the middle Yangtze,the largest river in Hunan Province,China. It is the second-largest tributary in terms of surface runoff,the fifth-largest tributary by drainage area of the Yangtze tributaries. The river flows generally northeast through the provinces of Guangxi and Hunan,its tributaries reaching into Jiangxi and Guangdong.
The Dong River is the eastern tributary of the Pearl River in Guangdong province,southern China. The other two main tributaries of the Pearl River are the Xi River and the Bei River. The headwater is located in Mount Sanbai (三百山) in Anyuan County,Jiangxi.
Xingning is a county-level city,under the jurisdiction of Meizhou City,Guangdong Province,China. The second largest city in eastern Guangdong,Xingning has an area of 2,104.85 square kilometres (812.69 sq mi) and a population of 1.13 million.
Shaoguan is a prefecture-level city in northern Guangdong Province (Yuebei),South China,bordering Hunan to the northwest and Jiangxi to the northeast. It is home to the mummified remains of the sixth Zen Buddhist patriarch Huineng. Its built-up area made up of Zhenjiang,Wujiang and Qujiang urban conurbated districts was home to 1,028,460 inhabitants as of the 2020 census.
Qingyuan,formerly romanized as Tsingyun,is a prefecture-level city in northern Guangdong province,China,on the banks of the Bei or North River. During the 2020 census,its total population was 3,969,473,out of whom 1,738,424 lived in the built-up area made of urbanized Qingcheng and Qingxin districts. The primary spoken language is Cantonese. Covering 19,015 km2 (7,342 sq mi),Qingyuan is Guangdong's largest prefecture-level division by land area,and it borders Guangzhou and Foshan to the south,Shaoguan to the east and northeast,Zhaoqing to the south and southwest,and Hunan province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to the north. The urban core is surrounded by mountainous areas but is directly connected with Guangzhou and the Pearl River Delta by Highway 107.
The Miluo River is located on the eastern bank of Dongting Lake,the largest tributary of the Xiang River in the northern Hunan Province. It is an important river in the Dongting Lake watershed,known as the location of the ritual suicide in 278 BC of Qu Yuan,a poet of Chu state during the Warring States period,in protest against the corruption of the era.
Zhangshu,formerly Qingjiang County (Tsingkiang) (清江县),is a county-level city under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Yichun,in the west-central part of Jiangxi Province. It has an area of 1,291 km2 (498 sq mi) with a population of 536,500. It is the first county of China Top 100 County in Jiangxi Province. The literal translation of the name is Camphor laurel,because traditionally,the city was a major commercial hub for camphor laurel oil. Zhangshu is famous for Chinese medicinal herbs. The China top 10 medicine producer Renhe Group is located there. Officially,it is the Medicine Capital of China,and there are thousands of pharmaceutical companies. Hundreds of thousands of kinds of Chinese herbal medicines are sold by bulk or by retail.

With a population of 480,000 and an area of 3,099 square kilometres (1,197 sq mi),Changting is the fifth largest county in the province. The majority of the population belongs to the Hakka people and speaks Changting dialect,a dialect of Hakka Chinese. The Changting dialect is mutually unintelligible with the Meixian dialect,which is another Hakka language spoken in Guangdong.
Pingshi Town is a town of Lechang City,in the far north of Guangdong Province,China,near the border with Hunan. It is located along the Wu River (武江),a tributary of the Bei River. As of 2006 it had a population of 120,000 residing in an area of 268 km2 (103 sq mi).
Pingyuan County is a county in the northeast of Guangdong Province,People's Republic of China. It is under the administration of Meizhou City.

Renhua County is a county in the northernmost portion of Guangdong province,in China,bordering Jiangxi to the northeast and Hunan to the northwest. It is under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Shaoguan. Renhua County spans an area of 2,223 square kilometres (858 sq mi),and has a population of 200,354 as of the 2010 Chinese Census.
Longchuan County is a county of northeastern Guangdong province,China,bordering Jiangxi to the north and on the upper reaches of the Dong and Han Rivers. It is under the administration of Heyuan City,and in 2004 had a population of 870,000 living in an area of 3,088 km2 (1,192 sq mi). Bordering county-level divisions are Xingning and Wuhua County to the east,Heping County and Dongyuan County to the south and west,and in Jiangxi,Dingnan County and Xunwu County to the north.
The Xiao River is the Main Stream of the upper Xiang River located in Yongzhou,Hunan. As of 2011 Water Census of China,it has a length of 365 kilometres (227 mi) from the headwaters to the confluence in the Ping Island of Yongzhou with the Xiang River West Branch originating from Guangxi. With the tributaries,its drainage basin area is 12,094 square kilometres (4,670 sq mi). Night rain on the Xiaoxiang,one of the Eight Views of Xiaoxiang,is located in this river.
The G4511 Longnan–Heyuan Expressway,commonly referred to as the Longhe Expressway,is a 127.87-kilometre-long Chinese expressway (79.45 mi) that connects Longnan County,a county under the administration of the city of Ganzhou in the province of Jiangxi,and Dongyuan County,a county under the administration of the city of Heyuan,in the province of Guangdong. The expressway is a spur of the G45 Daqing–Guangzhou Expressway.
Ganzhou–Shenzhen high-speed railway,or Ganzhou–Shenzhen section of Beijing–Hong Kong corridor,is a high-speed railway from Shenzhen and the Pearl River Delta through northeast Guangdong province to Ganzhou in Jiangxi province. It will form part of Beijing–Hong Kong corridor. The railway opened on 10 December 2021.
The Lu River is a right-bank tributary of the Xiang River. It rises in Shuijiang Town of Yichun,Jiangxi,and flows slowly westwards for 168.8 kilometres (104.9 mi) to the Xiang River. With its tributaries,the Lu has a drainage-basin area of 5,713 square kilometres (2,206 sq mi),and its watershed drains parts of four prefectures in Jiangxi and Hunan provinces. The Lu River is one of the largest tributaries of the Xiang. The main stream passes through the counties of Yuanzhou,Shangli,Anyuan and Xiangdong in Jiangxi and the counties of Liling and Zhuzhou in Hunan.
The Lianjiang River,in ancient time known as Huang River,is a right-bank and the largest tributary of the North River in Guangdong. The river rises in Momianshi (磨面石) of Xingzi Town (星子镇) in Lianzhou county,and it runs generally northwest to southeast through Lianzhou,Yangshan and Yingde counties. It joins the Bei River at Jiangkouzui of Lianjiangkou Town (连江口镇),Yingde. The Lianjiang River has a length of 275 kilometres (171 mi),with its tributaries;it has a drainage basin area of 10,061 square kilometres (3,885 sq mi).
