Jochen "Joe" Helper (born 29 September 1959) is an Australian politician who represented Ripon in the Victorian Legislative Assembly from 1999 to 2014,representing the Labor Party.
Helper was first elected in the 1999 election on the back of the anti-Kennett rural swing and has held this normally Liberal seat until his resignation in 2014. After the 2006 election Helper was appointed to the cabinet as Minister for Agriculture. He gained the small business portfolio in a reshuffle in August 2007 following the accession of John Brumby to the premiership. [1]

It included the Ballarat suburbs of Ballarat East,Bakery Hill,Golden Point,Eureka,Canadian,Mount Pleasant,Mount Clear,Mount Helen and Warrenheip,and the rural towns of Ballan,Buninyong,Bungaree,Creswick,Daylesford,Dunnstown,Hepburn Springs,Kyneton,Lal Lal,Malmsbury,Meredith and Steiglitz. The electorate had a population of 54,127 as of the 2006 census,with 40,578 enrolled electors at the 2010 state election.

He was a Liberal Party member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly from 1999 to 2014,representing the electorate of Hawthorn. He was elected leader of the Liberal Party in opposition in 2006,and served as Premier from 2010 until 2013 after winning the 2010 state election. He resigned as Premier on 6 March 2013,and was succeeded by Denis Napthine.

She was a Liberal Party member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly from 1999 to 2018,representing the electorate of Brighton;she previously served in the Victorian Legislative Council from 1992 to 1999 as member for Monash Province. Asher was the second longest-serving Deputy Leader of the Victorian Liberal Party after Sir Arthur Rylah,and served from 1999 to 2002,and again from 2006 to 2014. Telmo Ramon Languiller-Tornesi is an Australian politician. He was a Labor Party member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly from 1999 to 2018,representing the electorates of Sunshine (1999–2002),Derrimut (2002–2014) and Tarneit (2014–2018). From December 2014,he was Speaker of the Victorian Legislative Assembly,but was forced to resign in March 2017 for claiming a second house allowance. While entitled to the allowance,it failed the test of public opinion and Languiller was forced to repay the allowance by the Premier. He currently serves as Melbourne Victory FC's director of international relations.
The 2014 Victorian state election,held on Saturday,29 November 2014,was for the 58th Parliament of Victoria. All 88 seats in the Victorian Legislative Assembly and 40 seats in the Victorian Legislative Council were up for election. The incumbent centre-right Coalition minority government,led by Liberal Party leader and Premier Denis Napthine and National Party leader and Deputy Premier Peter Ryan,was defeated by the centre-left Labor Party opposition,led by Daniel Andrews. The Greens won two lower house seats,their first Legislative Assembly seats in a Victorian state election,whilst increasing their share of upper house seats. The new Andrews Ministry was sworn in on 4 December 2014.
