Harry Christopher"Chip" Caray III is an American television broadcaster for Bally Sports Midwest coverage of St. Louis Cardinals baseball. He joined the Cardinals' broadcast team after leaving the Atlanta Braves,where he had served as the television play-by-play voice from 2005 to 2022. Chip is also known from his time as a broadcaster for the Fox Saturday Game of the Week and as the television play-by-play broadcaster for the Chicago Cubs from 1998 to 2004. He is the son of broadcaster Skip Caray,the grandson of broadcaster Harry Caray,and the father of broadcaster Chris Caray.

Orsillo was the television voice of the Boston Red Sox on NESN from 2001 to 2015. He was then hired by the Padres to replace broadcaster Dick Enberg upon his retirement at the end of the 2016 season.

Ernest Thorwald Johnson Sr. was an American professional baseball player and television sports color commentator. He played in Major League Baseball as a right-handed pitcher between 1950 and 1959. He played the majority of his career with the Boston Braves and remained with the team when they became the Milwaukee Braves in 1953. Johnson was a member of the world champion 1957 Milwaukee Braves. He played his final season with the Baltimore Orioles. After his playing career,he became a longtime television color commentator on the TBS television network. In 2001,Johnson was inducted into the Atlanta Braves Hall of Fame. He is the father of Inside the NBA sportscaster Ernie Johnson Jr.
The Peoria Javelinas are a baseball team that plays in the West Division of the Arizona Fall League. The Javelinas play their home games in the Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria,Arizona. The ballpark is also the spring training facility for the San Diego Padres and the Seattle Mariners. The season began on March 20–21 with a two-game series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres held in Seoul,South Korea,before the regular season proper runs from March 28 to September 29. The 94th All-Star Game is planned for July 16 at Globe Life Field in Arlington,Texas. The postseason is then scheduled to begin on October 1 with a potential World Series Game 7 set for November 2. Going into the season,the defending World Series champions are the Texas Rangers from the 2023 season. During the offseason,the Oakland Athletics were approved by MLB owners to relocate to Las Vegas in 2028. It will also be the team's final season in Oakland as they will leave the Oakland Coliseum to temporarily play at the Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento for three years.
