Lennon's work was characterised by the rebellious nature and acerbic wit of his music, writing and drawings, on film, and in interviews. Fly is the second album by Yoko Ono, released in 1971. Co-produced by Ono and John Lennon, the original release was a complete avant-garde/Fluxus package in a gatefold sleeve that came with a full-size poster and a postcard to order Ono's 1964 book Grapefruit. Notable songs include the singles "Midsummer New York" and "Mrs. Lennon", "Hirake" and "Don't Worry, Kyoko ", that was dedicated to Ono's daughter Kyoko Cox. "Airmale", that benefits from the automated noise music machines of Fluxus musician Joe Jones, is the soundtrack to Lennon's film Erection, showing a building being erected in time lapsed photography, while "Fly" is the soundtrack to Lennon and Ono's 1970 film Fly. The entire side three of this LP has Ono performing with various automated sound-machines created by Joe Jones pictured in the gatefold.
Imagine is a 1972 feature-length music film by John Lennon and Yoko Ono, filmed at their Tittenhurst Park home in Ascot, England, and in various locations in London and New York between May to September 1971. All the songs from Lennon's 1971 Imagine album appear in the soundtrack, and also the songs "Mrs. Lennon", "Mind Train", "Don't Count the Waves" and "Midsummer New York" from Ono's 1971 album FLY.

The Beatles: Get Back is a 2021 documentary series directed and produced by Peter Jackson. It covers the making of the Beatles' 1970 album Let It Be and draws largely from unused footage and audio material originally captured for the 1970 documentary of the album by Michael Lindsay-Hogg. The docuseries has a total runtime of nearly eight hours, consisting of three episodes between two and three hours, each covering roughly weekly periods of 21 days of studio time.
