John Carpino is an American baseball executive. He is president of the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball. He was named the eighth President in Angels history on Nov. 14,2009 following six seasons as the Club's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In addition to his role with the Team,Carpino oversees AM830 Radio;the home of Angels Baseball,Anaheim Ducks Hockey,and Notre Dame Football in Southern California.
Carpino's professional career began in 1982 in the billboard industry,including stints in Tucson,AZ;Chicago,IL;Phoenix,AZ and Los Angeles,CA. In 1985,he joined current Angels owner Arte Moreno at Outdoor Systems,a billboard company,which would later become Viacom Outdoor in 2000 and CBS Outdoor in 2005 and spent 18 years in the Phoenix and Los Angeles markets.
Carpino currently serves on the Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) Children's Foundation Board of Directors and served for three years on the Executive Board for the Orange County United Way. Additionally,Carpino was inducted into the National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame in 2017. [1]

Jerry Colangelo is an American businessman and sports executive. He formerly owned the Phoenix Suns of the NBA,the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA,the Arizona Sandsharks of the Continental Indoor Soccer League,the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League,and the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball. He was also instrumental in the relocation of the original Winnipeg Jets team in the NHL to Phoenix to become the Phoenix Coyotes. In 2014,Grand Canyon University renamed its Christian based school of business after Jerry Colangelo,replacing Ken Blanchard's namesake. From December 2015 to April 2016,Colangelo served as chairman of basketball operations for the Philadelphia 76ers,before serving as a special advisor to the team until December 2018.
Arturo "Arte" Moreno is an American businessman. On May 15,2003,he became the first Mexican-American to own a major sports team in the United States when he purchased the Anaheim Angels baseball team from the Walt Disney Company. In August 2022,he announced that he would explore a possible sale of the franchise,but in January 2023,he decided not to sell the team.

Robert O'Dell "Horse" Reynolds was an American football player and businessman in radio and professional sports. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame and is the only player ever to play in every minute of three consecutive Rose Bowl games (1934–1936). Reynolds was an All-American tackle who played for Stanford University from 1933 to 1935. After two years in the National Football League (NFL) with the Detroit Lions,Reynolds went into the broadcasting business and became general manager of the 50,000-watt KMPC radio station. He formed a partnership with Gene Autry in 1952 and served as the president of Golden West Broadcasting. He was also a founder,co-owner and president of the California Angels Major League Baseball team from 1960 to 1975.
The Los Angeles 2016 Olympic bid is a reference to the unsuccessful attempt by the city of Los Angeles,with help from the Greater Los Angeles area,to be chosen by the United States Olympic Committee as the official United States bid for the International Olympic Committee 2016 Summer Olympics host city competition. On July 26,2006,the USOC had narrowed its list of candidates to Chicago,Los Angeles and San Francisco. San Francisco later withdrew its bid on November 13,2006. On April 14,2007,Chicago was selected as the United States bid. Two years later,Chicago lost their bid to Rio de Janeiro when the IOC voted to select the host city.
