Baruch College is a public college in New York City. It is a constituent college of the City University of New York system. Named for financier and statesman Bernard M. Baruch, the college operates undergraduate and postgraduate programs through the Zicklin School of Business, the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences, and the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs.
Southeastern Louisiana University (Southeastern) is a public university in Hammond, Louisiana. It was founded in 1925 by Linus A. Sims as Hammond Junior College. Sims succeeded in getting the campus moved to north Hammond in 1928, when it became known as Southeastern Louisiana College. It achieved university status in 1970.

He was appointed by the Baton Rouge-based University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors. Bruno is the eighth president of ULM. He succeeded James E. Cofer Sr., who had resigned to become president of Missouri State University. Bruno's selection was made official in an announcement by University of Louisiana System president Randy Moffett. Bruno's official investiture was on 2011 October 2.

On November 30, 2022, she was announced as the next president of University of Louisville and began her tenure on February 1, 2023.
