Jolanda de Rover (born 10 October 1963) is a female former backstroke swimmer from the Netherlands.
Jolanda de Rover competed at the 1980, 1984 and 1988 Summer Olympics and won a gold and a bronze medal in backstroke in 1984. In 1988, she finished fifth and seventh in the 4 × 100 m medley relay and 200 m backstroke events, respectively. [1] Between 1981 and 1986 she won four medals at European and world championships; [2] she also won at least three national titles and set at least 10 national records in backstroke events. [3] Despite being of Dutch nationality she won the ASA National British Championships 200 metres backstroke title twice in 1981 and 1988. [4] [5]
De Rover was born in Amstelveen. She is the mother of Kira Toussaint, [6] who qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in the 100 meter backstroke. [7]

Andrew David Jameson is an English sports commentator and former competitive swimmer. Active as an elite swimmer in the mid-to-late 1980s he represented Great Britain in two consecutive Summer Olympics, the FINA World Championships, LEN European Championships, as well as England in the Commonwealth Games. At his peak between 1986 and 1988 he won the gold medal in 100 metre butterfly at the 1986 Commonwealth Games, the 1987 European Aquatics Championships and the 1987 Summer Universiade, as well as the 100 metre freestyle gold at the same Universiade. She also holds the European record in the long course and short course 50 metre backstroke. At the 2021 FINA Swimming World Cup, Toussaint placed second overall for a competitor of any gender in terms of total points scored and earned 11 gold medals.
Brigitte van der Lans is a Dutch former backstroke swimmer, who competed at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles. She finished 12th in the 100 metre backstroke and 17th in the 200 metre backstroke, the latter of which was won by her teammate Jolanda de Rover. She also participated at the 1985 European Aquatics Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Rhyan Elizabeth White is an American swimmer. She won a silver medal in the 4x100-meter medley relay at the 2020 Summer Olympics for her contribution in the prelims of the event and placed fourth in both the 100-meter backstroke and the 200-meter backstroke. At the 2020 Olympics, White also became the first Utah-born swimmer to compete in an Olympic Games. At the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, she was the only swimmer representing the United States to win a medal. She won her first world title in the 200-meter backstroke at the 2021 World Short Course Championships.
