Jomhuri Avenue is a street in the centre of Tehran, Iran. It has shops for the purchase of electronic equipment. Jomhuri is officially known as Jomhuri Islami Avenue which means Islamic republic. It is home to Tehran's biggest mobile phone shopping centre, Alaeddin (known as Bazaar-e Alaeddin). It is also a place where Tehran youngsters hang out during the evening.

Before the 1979 Revolution, the avenue's name was Shah (King). [1]

Nelson Mandela Boulevard still known as Jordan is an affluent and upper-class district in northern Tehran, and some people draw similarities between Jordan District as being much alike Kensington District in London, UK as the area is a mixture of residential and commercial locale, filled with the homes and businesses of many politicians, diplomats, expatriates, and artists. Before the Iranian Revolution in 1979 it was called Jordan street, named after the American presbyterian missionary Samuel M. Jordan and used to be one of the most popular avenue in Tehran, Iran. Renamed Nelson Mandela Boulevard in recent years, it is amongst the most famous streets in north Tehran after Valiasr Street which is the longest conventional street in the Middle East, spanning a south–north axis. Abdollah Entezam was an Iranian Diplomat, son of Seyed Mohamad also known as "Binesh Ali", leader of Safi Ali Shahi order of dervishes in Iran. His father was also a diplomat. Shahshahan Mausoleum is a historical mausoleum in Isfahan, Iran. It is located beside Jameh mosque and is the burial place of a famous Sufi of Isfahan, Shah Alaeddin Mohammad. According to the date of Shah Alaeddin's death, which was in the December 1446, the mausoleum was built between 1446 and 1448. The interior and exterior of the mausoleum is decorated by calligraphy, plasterwork and tiling. Its dome, which was being destroyed, has been rebuilt, but the mausoleum is in need of repairs.

Si-e Tir street or Qavam Street is a historical and walk down street in central Tehran, Iran. It is bordered to the south by Imam Khomeini street and City Park and to the north by Jomhuri Street, Mirza Kuchik Khan street and Neauphle-le-Château street.
