On February 29, 2024, Duplantier signed a minor league contract with the New York Mets. [21] In 16 games for the Triple–A Syracuse Mets, he posted a 5.31 ERA with 22 strikeouts across 20+13 innings pitched. On June 13, Duplantier was released by the Mets organization. [22]
