Jonathan "Jon" Mould (born 4 April 1991) is a Welsh racing cyclist from Newport. [3] Mould is a member of British Cycling's Olympic Academy Programme [4] which he joined in 2010. [1]
Mould started bike racing at the age of 14 with Newport Velo Cycling Club, and joined the British Cycling Olympic Development Programme in 2009. [1] He was a Commonwealth Games Athlete representing Wales at the Delhi 2010 Games, and rode for the An Post–Sean Kelly team in 2012. [5] He joined Team UK Youth for 2013. [6] After Team UK Youth folded at the end of 2013, he signed with the NFTO team for 2014. [7] After one season with NFTO Mould was announced as part of the inaugural squad for the ONE Pro Cycling team for the 2015 season. [8]
Mould represented Wales at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, 2014. [9]
In June 2016 Mould took his fourth Tour Series victory of the season in Durham: the win was also his third consecutive Tour Series win and the ninth of Mould's career, breaking the record of eight wins held by team-mate Ed Clancy. [10]
On 14 April 2018 Mould secured a silver medal for Wales in the Road Race at the 2018 Commonwealth Games held on the Gold Coast, Australia. [11]
Russell Downing is an English former professional cyclist, who rode competitively between 1999 and 2019 for numerous teams, such as Team Sky and JLT–Condor. He is the younger brother of fellow cyclist Dean Downing, and both brothers competed largely on the UCI Continental Tour and in British Premier Calendar races.
Gregory Henderson is a New Zealand former professional track and road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2002 and 2017. His career includes winning the 15-kilometre (9.3-mile) scratch race at the 2004 world championships and, in road cycling, winning the points competition at the Tour de Georgia in 2005 and 2008.
Dean "Deano" Downing is an English retired bicycle racer, specialising in road cycling who last rode for NFTO Pro Cycling. Downing was educated at Wales High School and Sheffield Hallam University, where he graduated in 1998 with a degree in Construction Management. He rode for the DFL-Cyclingnews-Litespeed team in 2006 and is the older brother of former British champion Russell Downing. In 2004, he represented Great Britain at the World Track Championships.
Evan Oliphant is a Scottish bicycle racer from Wick, Caithness, who currently rides for British amateur team Spartans Velo Club.
Dale Appleby is a Welsh former road racing cyclist, who competed professionally between 2006 and 2016. He represented Wales in the 2006 Commonwealth Games. In 2006 he rode for Recycling.co.uk and in 2007 he rode for the Italian V.C. Seano One Team. In 2010 he was with Team Raleigh and won the Welsh Road Race Championship.
Kristian House is a British former racing cyclist who rode for the JLT–Condor team from 2008 to 2015, and joined ONE Pro Cycling in 2016. He was the 2009 British Road Race Champion. He has raced in Europe and Australia. He rode for Great Britain in UCI World Cup track events. In 2006, he rode for the Recycling.co.uk team and in 2007 he signed for Navigators Insurance.
Edward Franklin Clancy is a British former professional track and road bicycle racer, who competed between 2004 and 2021.
James McCallum is a Scottish former racing cyclist who last rode for the NFTO Pro Cycling squad. He represented Scotland in the Team Pursuit, Points & Scratch Races at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, and again in 2006 in Melbourne in the Scratch, Points & Road Races, winning a bronze medal in the Scratch race.
Alexandre Blain is a French former road bicycle racer, who now works as a directeur sportif for UCI Continental team AT85 Pro Cycling.
Yanto Alexander Critchlow-Barker is a British former professional racing cyclist from Wales, who was the highest placed Briton in the 2005 Tour of Britain, coming ninth in the general classification.
Robert Lloyd "Rob" Partridge is a Welsh former professional cyclist from Wrexham, Wales. He represented Wales in the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Inspired after watching the Tour de France on television, he joined the Wrexham Roads Club at an early age. Partridge rode for the Endura Racing team from 2010 to 2012 and rode for the Rapha Condor–Recycling.co.uk team in 2008 and Team Halfords Bikehut in 2009. He was living with the Under 23 GB Squad in Quarrata, Tuscany until June 2007.
Adam Michael Blythe is an English former professional road and track racing cyclist, who competed professionally between 2010 and 2019 for the BMC Racing Team, NFTO, Orica–GreenEDGE, Tinkoff, Aqua Blue Sport and Lotto–Soudal teams. Blythe began racing at a young age and went on to become a member of British Cycling's Olympic Development Programme.
Peter Robert Kennaugh MBE is a Manx former professional racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2010 and 2019 for Team Sky and Bora–Hansgrohe. In 2012 he won the gold medal as part of the Great Britain Team Pursuit team at the 2012 Summer Olympics, becoming the first Manxman in 100 years to win gold. On 5 April 2019, he announced that he was taking an indefinite break from professional cycling to focus on his mental health.
Morgan Kneisky is a French former track and road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2010 and 2020 for the Team Raleigh–GAC, Armée de Terre, Roubaix–Lille Métropole and Groupama–FDJ Continental Team squads. Kneisky is a four-time UCI Track Cycling World Championships gold medallist, winning golds in the madison in 2013 with Vivien Brisse, 2015 with Bryan Coquard and 2017 with Benjamin Thomas, and the scratch in 2009. He retired following the 2021 UCI Track Cycling World Championships.
George Richard Atkins is a British former track and road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2014 and 2016. He was a member of British Cycling's Olympic Development Programme. In 2009 he won the junior race at the British National Road Race Championships. At the 2010 Commonwealth Games he won the silver medal in the track points race. After the Commonwealth Games Atkins took a break from the sport but returned in the summer of 2011.
