Hunter College is a public university in New York City. It is one of the constituent colleges of the City University of New York and offers studies in more than one hundred undergraduate and postgraduate fields across five schools. It also administers Hunter College High School and Hunter College Elementary School.
Brandeis University is a private research university in Waltham,Massachusetts. Jacqueline K. Barton,is an American chemist. She worked as a Professor of Chemistry at Hunter College (1980–82),and at Columbia University (1983–89) before joining the California Institute of Technology. In 1997 she became the Arthur and Marian Hanisch Memorial Professor of Chemistry and from 2009 to 2019,the Norman Davidson Leadership Chair of the Division of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Caltech. She currently is the John G. Kirkwood and Arthur A. Noyes Professor of Chemistry.

Paul Edward Farmer was an American medical anthropologist and physician. Farmer held an MD and PhD from Harvard University,where he was a University Professor and the chair of the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He was the co-founder and chief strategist of Partners In Health (PIH),an international non-profit organization that since 1987 has provided direct health care services and undertaken research and advocacy activities on behalf of those who are sick and living in poverty. He was professor of medicine and chief of the Division of Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
John Gorham Palfrey VII is an American educator,scholar,and law professor. He is an authority on the legal aspects of emerging media and an advocate for Internet freedom,including increased online transparency and accountability as well as child safety. In March 2019,he was named the president of the MacArthur Foundation effective September 1,2019. Palfrey was the 15th Head of School at Phillips Academy in Andover,Massachusetts from 2012 to 2019. He has been an important figure at Harvard Law School and served as executive director of Harvard's Berkman Center for Internet &Society from 2002 to 2008.
James MacGregor Burns was an American historian and political scientist,presidential biographer,and authority on leadership studies. He was the Woodrow Wilson Professor of Government Emeritus at Williams College and Distinguished Leadership Scholar at the James MacGregor Burns Academy of Leadership of the School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland,College Park. In 1971 Burns received the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award in History and Biography for his work on America's 32nd president,Roosevelt:The Soldier of Freedom.
David William Oxtoby is an American academic who served as the ninth president of Pomona College. He held the position from July 1,2003,to July 1,2017. A theoretical chemist,he received his bachelor's degree in chemistry and physics at Harvard University and his PhD in chemistry in 1975 from the University of California,Berkeley. Prior to his appointment at Pomona College,he was the Dean of the Physical Sciences Division at the University of Chicago.
Mark Stephen Wrighton is an American academic and chemist,and the current President of The George Washington University. In September 2021,Wrighton was named the Interim President of The George Washington University for an 18-month term and succeeded Thomas LeBlanc in January 2022. During his time at GWU,he was on sabbatical from Washington University in St. Louis where he is the James and Mary Wertsch Distinguished University Professor and Chancellor Emeritus. Wrighton served as the 14th Chancellor of Washington University in St. Louis from 1995 to 2019.

Arthur L. Horwich is an American biologist and Sterling Professor of Genetics and Pediatrics at the Yale School of Medicine. Horwich has also been a Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator since 1990. His research into protein folding uncovered the action of chaperonins,protein complexes that assist the folding of other proteins;Horwich first published this work in 1989.
Jonathan Leo Fairbanks is an American artist and expert of American arts and antiques. Fairbanks created the American Decorative Arts and Sculpture department at the Museum of Fine Arts,Boston,and served as the Curator of the department from 1970 to 1999.
James M. Manyika is a Zimbabwean-American academic,consultant,and business executive. He is known for his research and scholarship into the intersection of technology and the economy,including artificial intelligence,robotics automation,and the future of work. He is Google's first Senior Vice President of Technology and Society,reporting directly to Google CEO Sundar Pichai. He focuses on "shaping and sharing" the company's view on the way tech affects society,the economy,and the planet. He is also Chairman Emeritus of the McKinsey Global Institute.
