Jonathan Guus Ambrose[ citation needed ] Johnson (born 25 September 1976[ citation needed ]) has been the island governor of Saba since 2008. [4]
Johnson was born on 25 September 1976 on Saba.[ citation needed ] He is the third and youngest child of Guy and Angela Johnson.
He studied in the United States,graduating from the University of Florida with a master's degree in education in 1999. Before becoming Island Governor,he taught at the Sacred Heart Elementary School for four years. In 2004,Johnson became the director of the Saba Comprehensive School and held that position until 2008. Johnson has been married to Rosalyn Hassell since 2012,the couple have three children. [6]
The Netherlands Antilles was a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The country consisted of several island territories located in the Caribbean Sea. The islands were also informally known as the Dutch Antilles. The country came into being in 1954 as the autonomous successor of the Dutch colony of Curaçao and Dependencies. Sydney Alton Eugene Sorton is a politician from Saba,who currently holds the office of acting-judge with the Joint Court of Justice. The COVID-19 pandemic in Sint Eustatius is part of the ongoing global viral pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19),which was confirmed to have reached the Dutch Caribbean island of Sint Eustatius on 31 March 2020. On 5 May all cases recovered. The island's first COVID-19 death was recorded on 19 January 2022. The patient died at the St. Maarten Medical Center (SMCC) where they had been transported for treatment according to the press release of the St. Eustatius government.
