Jordan James is an American football running back for the Oregon Ducks.

Early life and high school

In James's senior season at Oakland High School, he rushed for 1,653 yards and 24, where he earned all-area Player of the Year honors, as he led his high school to a class 6A state title. [1] [2] James was ranked as a four star prospect and as the 16 best running back in the class of 2022. [3] James would decide to commit to play college football at the University of Oregon over other schools such as Florida and Georgia. [4] [5]

College career

In week seven of the 2022 season, James had a breakout game rushing ten times for 69 yards and a touchdown, in a 49-22 win over Arizona. [6] James finished his true freshman season in 2022 with 189 yards and five touchdowns on 46 carries, while also one reception for six yards. [7] In week one of the 2023 season, James rushed ten times for 86 yards and three touchdowns, as he helped the Ducks dominate Portland State 81-7. [8] In week five, James rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on just six carries, in a win over Stanford. [9] In week eight, James would rush the ball 13 times for 103 yards, as helped Oregon beat Washington State 38-24. [10]
