Dominick Puni (born February 24, 2000) is an American football offensive tackle. He played college football at Central Missouri and Kansas.

Early life and education

Puni was born on February 24, 2000, in St. Charles, Missouri. [1] He attended Francis Howell Central High School in Cottleville, Missouri.

College career

Puni played college football at the University of Central Missouri from 2018 to 2021. He did not play in 2020 due to the team's season being cancelled because of the Covid-19 pandemic, and played in only one game in 2021 due to injury. [2] Puni transferred to the University of Kansas in 2022. [3] He started all 24 games he played in during his two years at Kansas. [4] [5] He opted out of the 2023 Guaranteed Rate Bowl in order to prepare for the 2024 NFL draft. [6]

The team was coached by Gary Pinkel, who returned for his 11th season, and played their home games at Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium. It was the Tigers' final season in the Big 12 Conference as they departed for the Southeastern Conference in 2012. They finished the season 8–5, 5–4 in Big 12 play to finish in fifth place.
