Cog are an Australian progressive rock band that formed in 1998. Their debut album, The New Normal, was nominated for Triple J's 2005 J Award. The band's music is influenced by Tool, Isis, Nina Simone, Bob Marley, Leftfield, Deftones and Helmet.
Juice are an Australian funk rock band formed in 1991 by brothers: Amarnath and Krishna Jones both on guitar and vocals, Lucius Borich on drums; and David Kyle on bass guitar. They released their debut album, Wine of Life, in 1994 which peaked in the top 50 on the ARIA Albums Chart. At the ARIA Music Awards of 1994, their debut extended play, Movin' On, was nominated for an ARIA award for 'Best Independent Release'.
The Hanging Tree were an Australian progressive metal, stoner rock band formed in 1992 by Flynn Gower on guitar, Rohan Mellick on guitar, Daniel Parkinson on bass guitar and Emmy Walters on lead vocals. They were joined in 1995 by Lucius Borich on drums (ex-Juice). They issued a self-titled album in August 1996. Borich and Gower left the group later that year and, in 1998, formed Cog. Parkinson and Walters continued with new members until the Hanging Tree disbanded in 2002.
Kevin Nicholas Borich is a New Zealand-born Australian guitarist and singer-songwriter. He was a founding member of The La De Das, the leader of Kevin Borich Express, and a founding member of The Party Boys, as well as a session musician for numerous acts.
The Beautiful Girls are an Australian roots music group founded in Sydney in 2001 by Mat McHugh, Clay MacDonald, and Mitchell Connelly. They have released three extended plays, Morning Sun (2002), Goodtimes (2002), and The Weight of the World (2004), plus five studio albums, Learn Yourself (2003), We're Already Gone (2005), Ziggurats (2007), Spooks (2010), and Dancehall Days (2014). The last four albums have all peaked into the top 20 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Spooks and Dancehall Days also debuted at No. 1 on the Australian Independent Chart and No. 7&5 on the American Billboard Reggae Albums Chart, respectively. Their single "I Thought About You" reached No. 60 on the ARIA Singles Chart.

The New Normal was made the album of the week on Triple J and at the J Award of 2005, the album was nominated for Australian Album of the Year.
Flynn Gower is an Australian vocalist, composer and guitarist, currently the frontman of The Occupants. He is best known as frontman of the rock band Cog, which disbanded in 2010. He was also a guitarist in now-defunct funk metal band The Hanging Tree.
"Open Up" is a maxi single released by the Australian rock band Cog in March 2003. It contains a cover of the Public Image Limited/Leftfield track "Open Up", a two and a half minute extension of the track, full length versions of tracks that appeared, edited, on previous releases, and a remix of "Open Up" by producer Sean Boucher and DJ, DJ Silk. This is the first release that Luke Gower played on.

The Party Boys was an Australian rock supergroup with a floating membership commencing in 1982. Created by Mondo Rock's bass guitarist, Paul Christie with founding member Kevin Borich as a part-time venture for professional musicians with downtime from their other projects, the group had temporary members from acts such as Status Quo, the Angels, Sherbet, Skyhooks, Rose Tattoo, the Choirboys, Australian Crawl, Divinyls, Models, Dragon and Swanee plus international stars including Joe Walsh, Eric Burdon, Alan Lancaster and Graham Bonnet. In March 1983 their debut album, Live at Several 21sts, peaked at No. 9 on the Australian Kent Music Report Albums Chart. In June 1987 they had a number-one hit on the related Singles Chart with a cover version of John Kongos' hit, "He's Gonna Step On You Again". It also peaked at No. 10 on the New Zealand Singles Chart.
Stephen Vert Balbi is an Australian musician and record producer. He was the founding bass guitarist in pub rockers, Noiseworks in 1986 and formed a psychedelic pop group and production duo, Electric Hippies in 1993 with fellow Noiseworks member, Justin Stanley. He joined Mi-Sex in 2011. Balbi issued his debut solo album, Black Rainbow, in October 2013.
Lucius Borich is an Australian musician, best known as the drummer for the band Cog, and previously the drummer in funk metal band Juice and in The Hanging Tree as well as Floating Me. He currently plays and is working on new rock outfit The Nerve.

Luke Erin Gower is a member of the Australian progressive rock band Cog. He plays bass and sings background vocals. Gower's oldest brother, Flynn Gower, is their lead singer and guitarist. Gower and Flynn formed a group, the Occupants, which issued a single, "I've Been Thinking" and an extended play, Hindsight.
Ezekiel Ox, is an Australian entertainer, singer-songwriter, film maker, actor and political activist. He is currently the singer for Mammal and Over-Reactor. He also works closely with New Zealand born DJ Marze. He was previously the singer of Full Scale Revolution, The Ox, Superheist and The Fury and The Nerve.
pre.shrunk were an Australian rock band, which formed in March 1996 with two bass guitarists, Dave Morris and David "Davarj"/"Davage" Thomas, and a drummer, Justin Dwyer. At the ARIA Music Awards of 1999 they were nominated in the Best Independent Release category for their single, "Triple A Side" (1998). In 2001 they were nominated in the same category for their debut album, Digital Sunset (2000). Thomas left in 2003 and the group continued until late the following year as a duo.
Just Visiting is a full-length album by Australian progressive rock band Cog, released on 16 August 2008. The album is a compilation – re-release of the 2002 EPs Just Visiting Part One and Just Visiting Part Two as a full album – using the combined track listing but with the original long versions of "Bondi" and "Moshiach". In April 2003 both parts appeared on the ARIA Heavy Rock & Metal Singles Chart, with Part One peaking at No. 14 and Part Two reaching No. 4. Lucius Borich remastered the album at Studios 301.
Floating Me were an progressive rock group from Sydney, Australia, featuring Lucius Borich from Cog, Jon Stockman of Karnivool and Andrew Gillespie, Antony Brown and Tobias Messiter from the '90s grunge/metal band Scary Mother. Their 2011 debut album entered the ARIA album chart at #90.
Scary Mother were an Australian rock band. They were formed in 1990 by Dario Bortolin on bass guitar, Anthony Brown on lead guitar, Tim Burcham on drums, Andrew Gillespie on lead vocals and Toby Messiter (ex-Wildland) on keyboards. They released a self-titled three-track extended play in August 1992 via Mushroom Records' distributor MDS. Bortolin left the band and was replaced on bass guitar by Dorian West.
