Both the movies were made under the same banner and the director. The film was Above Average at the box office. Actress Nazneen received the film's only Filmfare nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
Kovelamudi Surya Prakash Rao (1914–1996) was an Indian film director, producer, actor and cinematographer known for his works in Telugu,Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi films. In 1977 he won the Filmfare Award for Best Director – Kannada for Ganda Hendthi. In 1995, Rao received the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award for his contributions to Telugu cinema. He is the father of noted Telugu director K. Raghavendra Rao and is the uncle of another noted director K. Bapayya.
Soggadu (transl. Charmer) is a 1975 Indian Telugu-language drama film directed by K. Bapayya and produced by D. Ramanaidu under Suresh Productions. The film stars Sobhan Babu as the title character alongside Jayachitra and Jayasudha. Anjali Devi, Kaikala Satyanarayana, Raja Babu, Allu Ramalingaiah, Santha Kumari, and Nagesh play supporting roles. Released on 19 December 1975, the film was a big commercial success. It was remade in Hindi as Dildaar (1977) and in Tamil as Radhaiketra Kannan (1978).

Pyar Hua Chori Chori is a 1991 Indian Hindi-language film directed by K. Bapayya, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Gautami, Shikha Swaroop, Shafi Inamdar, Shakti Kapoor and Anupam Kher. This was Gautami's debut film in Hindi. It is a remake of the Malayalam film Chithram.

He is known for works such as Morning Raga (2004), with which he made his Bollywood acting debut. He then directed Bommalata (2004), which received Best Film in Telugu at the 53rd National Film Awards, the fantasy film, Anaganaga O Dheerudu (2011), and the black comedy, Judgementall Hai Kya (2019). An alumnus of the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, Prakash is the son of veteran director K. Raghavendra Rao and grandson of K. S. Prakash Rao.
Swarag Se Sunder is a 1986 Indian Hindi-language drama film, produced by A. Krishna Murthy under the Tinu International Films banner and directed by K. Bapaiah. It stars Jeetendra, Mithun Chakraborty, Jaya Prada, Padmini Kolhapure, and music composed by Laxmikant–Pyarelal. The primary plot of the movie is similar to Meri Bhabhi (1969) directed by Khalid Akhtar. The film is a remake of the Telugu film Thalli Prema.

Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is an Indian actor who works in Telugu films. Son of film producer Bellamkonda Suresh, he made his debut with the action comedy film Alludu Seenu (2014) which won him Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South. He made his Hindi debut with the remake of the 2005 Telugu movie Chatrapathi in 2023.
Nishana (transl. Target) is a 1980 Indian Hindi-language action film, produced by M. Arjuna Raju, A. S. R. Anjineelu under Roja Movies banner and directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. Starring Jeetendra, Poonam Dhillon and music composed by Laxmikant–Pyarelal. The film is remake of the Telugu film Vetagadu (1979). Both the movies are made by same banner & director. The tiger sequence from this movie inspired a similar sequence in the 2010 comedy Housefull.
Doondeswara Rao Pothina, more popularly known as Doondi, was an Indian film producer. He was described as one of the pioneer film personalities of the 1960s Telugu film industry. Doondi produced and directed about 29 films in Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. In 2005, he also served as the Nandi Awards Committee Chairman.
Pelli SandaD is a 2021 Indian Telugu-language musical romantic comedy film directed by debutant Gowri Ronanki under the supervision of K. Raghavendra Rao. Produced by Madhavi Kovelamudi, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, the film features Roshan Meka and Sreeleela in lead roles.
