The Telangana Cabinet Ministers is the highest decision-making body of executive branch of the Government of Telangana, headed by the Chief Minister of Telangana. Telangana's current 18-member cabinet is also its first, being sworn in by the Governor of Telangana on 2 June 2014, the day of the state's birth. It is headed by K. Chandrasekhar Rao of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, the first Chief Minister of Telangana. [1]

Government of Telangana is a democratically elected body that governs the State of Telangana, India. The state government is headed by the Governor of Telangana as the nominal head of state, with a democratically elected Chief Minister as the real head of the executive. The governor who is appointed for five years appoints the chief minister and his council of ministers. Even though the governor remains the ceremonial head of the state, the day-to-day running of the government is taken care of by the chief minister and his council of ministers in whom a great deal of legislative powers is vested. The state government maintains its capital at Hyderabad and is seated at the Government Secretariat or the Sachivalayam.

Telangana Rashtra Samithi Political party of India

Telangana Rashtra Samithi is an Indian regional political party based in Telangana. Founded on 27 April 2001 by K. Chandrashekar Rao, with a single point agenda of creating a separate Telangana state with Hyderabad as its capital. It has been instrumental in carrying forth a sustained agitation for the granting of statehood to Telangana.

Telugu Desam Party Political party of India

Telugu Desam Party, abbreviated as TDP, is a regional political party active in the southern states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The party was founded by N.T. Ramarao on 29 March 1982. Since 1995, the party is headed by N. Chandrababu Naidu, the incumbent Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The party's headquarters is located at NTR Bhavan in Hyderabad.

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the provincial government of the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Its powers and structure are set out in the provisions of the 1973 Constitution, in which 26 districts come under its authority and jurisdiction. The government includes the cabinet, selected from members the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, and the non-political civil staff within each department. The province is governed by a unicameral legislature with the head of government known as the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister, invariably the leader of a political party represented in the Assembly, selects members of the Cabinet. Dr. Marri Channa Reddy was an Indian politician active in several states. He was the governor of Uttar Pradesh (1974–1977), governor of Punjab (1982–1983), governor of Rajasthan from February 1992 to May 1993, and governor of Tamil Nadu from 1993 until his death. He was a leader of Indian National Congress Party. He also served as chief minister of Andhra Pradesh from 1978 to 1980 and from 1989 to 1990.

Kadiyam Srihari is an Indian politician, Former Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister of Telangana State. He was the Member of Parliament from Warangal constituency from the State of Telangana (2014-2015). He took oath as a cabinet minister in Telangana government on 25 January 2015 as a Deputy Chief Minister and also Education Minister.

K. Chandrashekar Rao Chief Minister of Telangana

Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao better known and abbreviated as K.C.R., is an Indian politician and the first Chief Minister of Telangana, a new state formed by the division of Andhra Pradesh in 2014. He is the leader and Founder of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, a regional party in India. He is a Member of the Legislative Assembly (Telangana) from the Gajwel constituency of Siddipet District in Telangana. Previously, he served as the Member of the Legislative Assembly from Siddipet and also as the Member of Parliament from Mahbubnagar, Karimnagar and Medak. He took oath as the first Chief Minister of the new state of Telangana on 2 June 2014. He went for early elections in 2018, when his cabinet recommended to dissolve the legislative lower house, Nine months before the completion of his term. He again took oath as the Chief Minister of Telangana by for the second term on 13th December 2018.

State governments in India are the governments ruling States of India and the head of the council of ministers in a state is chief minister. Power is divided between the central government and state governments. While the central government handles military and external affairs etc., whereas the state government deals with internal security and other state issues. Income for the central government is from customs duty, excise tax, income tax etc., while state government income comes from sales tax (VAT), stamp duty, now these have been subsumed under SGST, GST—components of GST. Each state has a legislative assembly. A state legislature that has one house, known as Vidhan Sabha or Legislative assembly, is a Unicameral legislature.

Telangana movement support for Telangana being separate from adjacent places

The Telangana movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. The new state corresponds to the Telugu-speaking portions of the erstwhile princely state of Hyderabad. After several years of protest and agitation, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state and on 7 February 2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Lasting for almost a decade, this has been one of the most longlasting movements in South India. On 18 February 2014, the Lok Sabha passed the bill with a voice vote. Subsequently, the bill was passed by Rajya Sabha two days later, on 20 February. As per the bill, Hyderabad would be the capital of Telangana, while the city would also remain the capital of residual state of Andhra Pradesh for no more than ten years. On 2 June 2014, Telangana was created.

K. Kavitha political activist

Er.Kalvakuntla Kavitha is an MP and Telangana Rashtra Samithi party member. She is the first woman parliamentarian from Telangana. She represents Nizamabad Lok Sabha Constituency and she is the daughter of Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar is an Indian politician and Member of Legislative Assembly in Telangana representing Telangana Rashtra Samithi a.k.a. T.R.S. He represents the Warangal West assembly constituency. He is also the Parliamentary Secretary in-charge of Chief Minister's Office (CMO) for TRS party since 2015.

Telangana Legislative Assembly

The Telangana Legislative Assembly is the lower house of the Telangana Legislature. The Legislative Assembly of Telangana currently consists of 119 elected members and 1 nominated member from the Anglo-Indian community. Its chief engineer was Nawab Sarwar Jung.

Naini Narshimha Reddy is the First Home Minister of Telangana. He was sworn as minister of Telangana state on 2 June 2014. He was the home minister of [[Telangana] from 2014 to 2018. He taken charge of portfolios including Prisons, Fire Services, Sainik Welfare, Labour and Employment. He is the Member of Legislative Council(MLC) Nominated by Governer in Telangana. He is One of the Hyderabad Popular Leader.

Telangana's current 12-member cabinet is its second, being sworn in by the Governor of Telangana on 13 December 2018 & 19 February 2019. It is headed by K. Chandrashekar Rao of the TRS, the first Chief Minister of Telangana.
