Amitoj Maan is an Indian actor, director, author, and screenwriter known for his works in Punjabi and Hindi films. He made two films: Kaafila based on the concept of illegal immigration and Hawayein, based on the aftermath of Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's assassination. Hawayein was well received, however Mann was less successful with Kaafila, which was banned in Pakistan due to the film's perceived anti-Pakistan material.

Yamla Pagla Deewana is a 2011 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Samir Karnik, featuring Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, and Bobby Deol in the lead roles. The film marks the second pair-up between the Deol family, after Apne (2007). The film's title is inspired by the song "Main Jat Yamla Pagla Deewana" from the 1975 film, Pratigya also starring Dharmendra. The theatrical trailer of the film unveiled on 5 November 2010, whilst the film released on 14 January 2011, and received good response upon release. It turned out to be a box office hit. Poster Boys is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language comedy film written, co-produced and directed by Shreyas Talpade in his directorial debut. The film features Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Shreyas Talpade along with Sonali Kulkarni, Samikssha Batnagar and Tripti Dimri. The film is an official remake of the Marathi film Poshter Boyz which Talpade himself had produced and acted in. It is inspired by a real-life incident about three porters who found their pictures on a vasectomy poster. Produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions, Sunny Sounds Pvt. Ltd. and Affluence Movie Pvt. Ltd., Poster Boys is released on 8 September 2017.

The film stars Babbu Maan in a triple role alongside, Sarah Khatri ,Rana Ranbir, Gurpreet Bhangu, Jiya Mustafa and Shraddha Arya. It is Maan's first film release after Baaz (2014). Based on the life of truck drivers and the film highlights the eras of 1947, 1984 and 2018, presenting the love stories of the three generations. The film was theatrically released on 7 December 2018.
