Pampore, known as Pampar or Panpar in Kashmiri, is a historical town of Kashmir situated on the eastern side of river Jehlum on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It was known as Padampur in antiquity. It is famous for its saffron and known as the Saffron town of Kashmir. Pampore is one of the few places in the world where saffron, the world's most expensive spice, grows. The area is about 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) from Srinagar city centre Lal Chowk. Areas of Pampore typically have -bal as a suffix, such as the localities of Namlabal, Kadlabal, Drangbal, Frestabal, and Letrabal. Pampore has three lakes as well which have been entitled as wetlands. One of the lakes is known as Sarbal Lake. The Sarbal Lake is situated on the way from Tulbagh to Wuyan through saffron fields near Chatlam. On the basis of its location near Chatlam, it is also known as Chatlam Wetland.

Kakapora is a tehsil in Pulwama district, of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) SE of Srinagar. The district road passes through the town, which connects it to the district headquarters at Pulwama. It is situated on the banks of the Jhelum River and Romshi, one of the tributaries of the Jhelum River. The people are mostly associated with agriculture. Kakapora is a historical place and is mentioned in Kalahana's book of Rajatarangini .There are commercial units in Oukhoo village of Kakapora that boost the economic status of the whole town beyond just agriculture.
Durhama is a small village in Baramulla district in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 20 km from District headquarters Baramulla, 13 km from the Apple town Sopore and 50 km from Batmaloo, Srinagar via Putukhah- Wagoora road and 44 km via Tapper-Kreeri road. It is about 100m away from the Tehsil headquarter Wagoora and about 3.5 km from the medical block Kreeri. It is situated on the left side of the link road which connects Baramulla and Babareshi-Gulmarg. The village has three mosques and 85 households. The population of Durhama is about 1000. There is a primary and a middle school in the outskirts of the village. The literacy rate of Durhama is about 67% below than the state level which is about 68.5%. A building of The Block Development Office Wagoora is located at the entrance of Durhama. A medical sub centre is also located alongside B.D.O. office.
