Kadaroceras is a genus of discosorids from the Devonian, named by Zhuravleva, 1972, possibly a member of the Discosoridae. Discosorids are nautiloid cephalopods generally characterized by inflated siphuncle segments that expand into the chambers and by connecting rings that vary in composition along their length.
Karadzharoceras and Katageioceras are related genera.
Genrikh Saulovich Altshuller, was a Soviet engineer, inventor, and writer. He is most notable for the creation of the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving, better known by its Russia acronym TRIZ. He founded the Azerbaijan Public Institute for Inventive Creation, and was the first President of the TRIZ Association. He also wrote science fiction under the pen-name Genrikh Altov.
Lyudmila Vasilyevna Zhuravleva is a Soviet, Russian and Ukrainian astronomer, who worked at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory in Nauchnij, where she discovered 213 minor planets.
The Crimean Astrophysical Observatory is located at Nauchnij research campus, near the Central Crimean city of Bakhchysarai, on the Crimean peninsula. CrAO is often called simply by its location and campus name, Crimea–Nauchnij, still ranks among the worldwide most prolific discovery sites for minor planets.
Discosorida are an order of cephalopods that lived from the beginning of the Middle Ordovician, through the Silurian, and into the Devonian. Discosorids are unique in the structure and formation of the siphuncle, the tube that runs through and connects the camerae (chambers) in cephalopods, which unlike those in other orders is zoned longitudinally along the segments rather than laterally. Siphuncle structure indicated that the Discosorida evolved directly from the Plectronoceratida rather than through the more developed Ellesmerocerida, as did the other orders. Finally and most diagnostic, discosorids developed a reinforcing, grommet-like structure in the septal opening of the siphuncle known as the bullette, formed by a thickening of the connecting ring as it draped around the folded back septal neck.
2098 Zyskin, provisional designation 1972 QE, is a vestoid asteroid from the inner regions of the asteroid belt, approximately 10 kilometers in diameter. It was discovered by Russian–Ukrainian astronomer Lyudmila Zhuravleva at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory in Nauchnyj on 18 August 1972. The asteroid was named for surgeon Lev Zyskin (1930–1994).
1859 Kovalevskaya, provisional designation 1972 RS2, is a carbonaceous asteroid from the outer regions of the asteroid belt, approximately 40 kilometers in diameter.
1910 Mikhailov, provisional designation 1972 TZ1, is a carbonaceous asteroid from the outer regions of the asteroid belt, approximately 35 kilometers (22 mi) in diameter. Discovered at Nauchnyj in 1972, it was named after Russian astronomer Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Mikhailov. It has a 3:1 ratio of iron to carbon, hence the name. The asteroid is believed to have been expelled from its parent asteroid belt (one of three main asteroid belts in the inner Solar System), and is classified as a metallic asteroid, because its iron is fairly weak.
Istanbul Animation Festival is a festival of animated films founded in 2003 and held annually in November. Festival Director and Founder is Efe Efeoglu. The festival is organised by Alternatif Akım.
Mesoceras is a mid Silurian discosorid from central Europe named by Barrande in 1877, with a short, anteriorly contracted body chamber and an aperture that is a long transverse slit.. The cross section is slightly oval with the dorso-ventral dimension slightly less than the lateral. Sutures are straight and transverse, the siphuncle is subcentral.
Pancornus is an extinct genus from the nautiloid order Discosorida that lived during the Late Devonian. Pancornus was named by F.A. Zhuravleva in 1972, and is contemporary with other late discosorids such as Parevlanoceras and Raphanites.
Selenoceras is an extinct genus of nautiloids, named by Zhuravleva in 1972, assigned to the Discosorida. Discosorids constitute an order of shelled cephalopods with siphuncle segments that are zoned longitudinally and connecting rings that typically wrap around the septal necks, re-enforcing the septal perforations. Discosorids ranged from the Middle Ordovician possibly to the Upper Devonian.
Bogoslovskya is an extinct orthoceroid cephalopod genus that lived in what is now Asia from the Devonian to the Permian.
Dissidocerida is an order of Early Ordovician to the Early Silurian orthoceratoid cephalopods in which the siphuncle has a continuous lining or a longitudinal rod-like structure within.
Vladimir Sergeyevich Ivashov was a Soviet and Russian actor.
Discosoridae comprise a family of endogastric discosorids,, with endocones in the siphuncle, ranging from the Middle Silurian to Middle Devonian.
Kitatites is an extinct genus of Upper Devonian (Frasnian) cephalopods named by Zhuravleva, 1972. It is assigned to the nautiloid order Discosorida.
Karadzharoceras is a genus of discosorids from the Devonian, named by Zhuravleva in 1972, possibly a member of the Discosoridae. Discosorids are nautiloid cephalopods generally characterized by inflated siphuncle segments that expand into the chambers and by connecting rings that vary in composition along their length. Kadaroceras and Katageioceras are related genera.
Katageioceras is a genus of nautiloid cephalopods from the Devonian named by Zhuravleva in 1972, related to Kadaroceras and Karadzharoceras and other genera that possibly belong to the Discosoridae.
Manjoceras is a genus of discosorids named by Zhuravleva, 1972; a kind of nautiloid in which the connecting rings of the siphuncle are longitudinally zoned and clasp around the rim of the septal openings.
Zhuravleva Tatiana Alexandrovna is a Russian discus thrower. Tatiana is a member of the Russian national team. Tatiana moved to the United States in 2011. In 2014, she won the NCAA Outdoor Championships with 56.10 m. She became third at the Russian Championship in 2014. She qualified for the World University Games in Korea in 2015. Tatiana qualified for the European Championship in 2016, but because of the ban of her country could not compete there. She is currently studying and practicing in the States.
