The Circuito do Estoril or Autódromo do Estoril, officially known as Autódromo Fernanda Pires da Silva, is a motorsport race track on the Portuguese Riviera, outside of Lisbon, owned by state-run holding management company Parpública. Its length is 4.182 km (2.599 mi). It was the home of the Formula One Portuguese Grand Prix from 1984 to 1996. The circuit has an FIA Grade 1 license.
Exit is a summer music festival which is held at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia. Founded in 2000, it has twice won the Best Major Festival award at the European Festivals Awards, for 2013 and 2017. EXIT has also won the "Best European Festival" award at the UK Festival Awards in 2007. In March 2018 Regional Cooperation Council awarded EXIT Festival as Champion of Regional Cooperation for 2017.
Abinadi Meza is an American visual artist, sound artist, and experimental filmmaker whose works focus on transformation, spatial politics, and poetics. His films, sound art, performances, and installations have been presented at Anthology Film Archives, New York; Brooklyn Film Festival, New York; MAXXI, Rome; Matadero Madrid; Cinemateca Nacional del Ecuador, Quito; Cinemateca do Museu de Arte Moderna, Rio de Janeiro; SF Cinematheque, San Francisco; Walker Art Center, Minneapolis; American Academy in Rome; Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin; Blaffer Art Museum, Houston; FACT, Liverpool; La Casa Encendida, Madrid; Minneapolis Institute of Arts; Mexic-Arte Museum, Austin; New Orleans Film Festival; La Casa Encendida, Madrid, and Lisbon Architecture Triennale. Meza primarily uses ephemeral, precarious, site-specific and salvaged materials in his work. As a young artist Meza studied Butoh with teachers from Japan, Europe and South America. Later he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa, (1999); a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Minnesota (2004); and a Master of Architecture degree from SCI-Arc, the Southern California Institute of Architecture(2009). Meza's family background is Native American, Portuguese, Moroccan, and Russian.
MEO Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Lisbon, Portugal. The arena is among the largest indoor arenas in Europe and the largest in Portugal with a capacity of 20,000 people and was built in 1998 for Expo '98.
Primavera Sound is an annual music festival held at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, Spain, during late May and early June. It was founded in 2001 by Pablo Soler as "a showcase for Spanish noise bands", originally held at the Poble Espanyol before moving to the Parc del Fòrum, a much larger site on the seafront, in 2005. It is one of the largest and most-attended music festivals in Europe and the biggest in the Mediterranean.
Vampire Weekend is an American rock band formed in New York City in 2006 and currently signed to Columbia Records. The band was formed by lead vocalist and guitarist Ezra Koenig, multi-instrumentalist Rostam Batmanglij, drummer Chris Tomson, and bassist Chris Baio. The Life Is Yours Tour was a concert tour by British indie rock band Foals in support of the band's seventh studio album, Life Is Yours.
