Kam Williams is an American college basketball player for the Kentucky Wildcats of the Southeastern Conference. He previously played for the Tulane Green Wave.
Coming out of high school, Williams was rated as a four-star recruit and committed to play college basketball for the Tulane Green Wave. [1]
On November 19, 2024, Williams totaled eight points, ten rebounds, and four assists in a victory over Bethune–Cookman. [2] On December 2, he notched 19 points versus Southeastern Louisiana. [3] On March 9, 2025, Williams tied a career-high with six three-pointers in a blowout win over UAB. [4] In the semifinals of the 2025 AAC tournament, he recorded 16 points and eight rebounds in a one-point loss to Memphis. [5] As a freshman in 2024-25, Williams appeared in 33 games with 28 starts and averaged 9.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 1.3 assists and 1.1 blocks per game. [6] He was named to the AAC all-freshman team and entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal after the season. [5]
