Kamal Patel (born 6 October 1961) is an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He has served as a minister three times in Government of Madhya Pradesh and Member of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly five times in 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, and 2018 representing the Harda Constituency). Political career

Patel has been associated with Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad, a student union affiliated with the BJP since his days as a student. He was president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Hoshangabad. Later, he was made state general secretary of BJP Yuva Morcha then also became state president of BJP Yuva morcha.[ citation needed ]

He has been elected on five occasions as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Madhya Pradesh from Harda constituency. Those successes came in the consecutive elections of 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, 2018. [6]

Minister Of Madhya Pradesh

Patel was made state minister (independent charge) of Medical Education, Technical Education and Training with effect from 1 June 2005 in the Babulal Gaur-led government. Later he was promoted to rank of cabinet minister and given the charge of revenue, religious trust and endowment, and rehabilitation departments in the government of Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

On 21 April 2020 he again became a cabinet minister.[ citation needed ]

Elections to the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly were held on 28 November 2018 to elect members of the 230 constituencies in Madhya Pradesh. The election was a direct political battle between the BJP and the INC. One of the main centers of attraction was the contest between Congress heavy-weight Arun Yadav and the then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. While the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government had tried to win for consecutive 4th term, the INC fought for winning the state after 2003. The election led to a hung assembly, with the INC emerging as the single largest party and the BJP winning the popular vote. After the results, Congress and BSP formed the government with Kamal Nath becoming the chief minister.

Tulsi Ram Silawat is an Indian politician serving as a cabinet minister in the Madhya Pradesh state government and a two-time representative of the Sanwer constituency in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. He took the oath as a cabinet minister in the new Madhya Pradesh government on 25 December, 2018. He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on 21 March, 2020, and took oath as the Water Resources Minister under Shivraj Singh Chouhan's cabinet on 21 April, 2020. On 20 October, 2020, he resigned from the post of Water Resources Minister. Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon is an Indian politician and a member of Bharatiya Janata Party. He was cabinet minister in Shivraj Singh's government and held Industry Policy and Investment Promotion portfolio. He is a descendant of Amjhera estate and is a titular head of the Dattigaon Jagir. He is also known as Maharaja or Rao Saheb of Dattigaon. He represents Badnawar in the state legislative assembly which comes under Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh and is a four-time MLA.

In March 2020, a political crisis took place in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India, due to the resignation of 22 sitting MLAs of the Indian National Congress party from the state's Legislative Assembly. It eventually led to the fall of the Kamal Nath government and the subsequent formation of the fourth Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in Madhya Pradesh.
